The property is modern and trendy only a few years old..very spacious and well laid out.. kitchen is fully fitted with all mod cons..appliances are superb all three bedrooms were ample with fitted furniture.. air con.. ceiling fans etc.. lovely beach a short walk.. swimming pool with loungers all exceptional conveniences that made a great stay.

Beautiful, spacious two-bedroom apartment just a short walk from Tamarin Beach. The balcony was a lovely spot to unwind, and the apartment came fully equipped with everything we needed for our week long stay. We appreciated how comfortable and relaxing the space was after busy days out exploring. The Stay with Fabrice, Pascale and Familiy was an extraordinary experience. From the first moment of online contact to our arrival until our departure, everything exceeded our expectations (costumer delight on the highest level). After our arrival, we got many valuable tips for adventures and restaurants, where to shop, including activities in the region that were a big value add to our experience. Our apartment was well equipped, tidy, and clean, if somethig was needed, the hosts were always around to help and the property itself was heaven within Tamarin. We really enjoyed our time there with the hosts plus their lovely dogs. It felt like being at home. Thanks again for everything, and I can highly recommend this place for a stay on Mauritius. Sure La Preneuse is the nearest beach, though If you're looking for the best beaches around, take that trip to Le Morne beach, it's worth it. We went to the only Thai restaurant in the area,'Ousaporn', indeed an oasis in that small town, great Deco, felt right, the staffs were admirable, the food was succulent but portion were quite small disproportionately over-priced . A day at the beach at Flic en flac is worth the tour, watch the sun set into the deep sea, then hit one of the restaurant around the area.

Great first time visit to the Island. Beautiful beaches with a multitude of activities for all ages. Christmas Day boat trip to Ile Aux Benitiers, which included a tasty braai (barbeque) swimming with dolphins and snorkeling around Crystal Rock

At the Veranda Tamarin hotel - the only real turn-off was...

At the Veranda Tamarin hotel - the only real turn-off was that only one tv channel was in English - BBC World. All others in French / Creole. No mainstream music channels. Tamarin is a small village, full of friendly people. The atmosphere is open and you get the sense of tranquility and safety. It is centrally located for South and West visiting. something for everyone.

The brand new SUPER U, is fantastic.

The brand new SUPER U, is fantastic. You can get anything there, even gifts. The Coffee shop at the Super U was two times cheaper than the other Coffee Shops. It is not very expensive at the Super U. We ate at the Happy Rajah and the Casa Pizza. The food was fantastic.

The hotel has a nice spa, the activities were nice including Credits depending on the length of your stay. The staff is very nice and mostly helpful. However, the shower was broken and the shower door was leaking water so that every time we took a shower half the bathroom was under water. The baths and toilet were not properly cleaned and the sun lounger at the pool were dirty.

My stay at Shanti Ghar Guest House couldn't have been more perfect: Zack & Yelena are awesome hosts who give the best (local) tipps for things to do in Tamarin and around (and help you organize different activities for yourself), tell you which restaurants have the best food and are ready to help you at all times in general. The guest house, outdoor spaces and my room were beautiful, clean and super cozy - definitely the best place to stay at in Tamarin! Next time I'm in Mauritius, I'll definitely stay here again :)

We Family stayed here for 3 days and had a wonderful time in this apartment. The Host Olga is very kind lady . She personally handed over the keys and explained about the amenities and was attentive if we needed anytime. Its closeby to Many tourist attractions and to Tamarin beach . Very peaceful place. Very clean .

We liked everything about the property and it's location. Tamarin is a wonderful little town with plenty of amazing beaches nearby. Most importantly Aurelie and Johanna, manager n owner resp. Took very good care of us. Always making sure that we were well n came up with plenty of suggestions.
