United StatesWe had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay at Sky View. We felt very welcome from the beginning. Areef met us at the ferry, walked us over to the place, and gave us a welcome drink. He then showed us around the island and made some recommendations for where to eat, swim, and snorkel. He really understands how to take great care of you while also giving you space, which we appreciated. He also fulfilled our only two requests: 1) we asked for and received a Maldivian breakfast instead of the continental breakfast that he planned to serve us; and 2) we were able to change from a room without a window to a room with a window. (Perhaps you won't be able to get/do that during high season, but we stayed there during low season.) The wifi worked very well (but wasn't perfect, as per usual in the Maldives). We booked a whale shark snorkeling tour on our last day and were thankful that Areef worked hard to make sure we spotted several of the amazing animals (as well as some dolphins). The outdoor seating area is very relaxing. You can borrow snorkeling gear for free. We stayed 4 nights and easily could have stayed longer (mostly thanks to Areef)!

I really liked the open area outside my room,a comfy couch and books on the side table,also a fridge. Breakfast was simple and delicious,sitting in the downstairs area amongst the plants and coconut tree, a lovely way to start my morning. A short walk to bikini beach and the cafes,I really enjoyed my experience at Daisy Cottage.

It is a small enough island to walk around.
It is a small enough island to walk around. The locals are extremely friendly - always saying hello.
There are 3 restaurants all along the west coast. Compass seems most popular. But all are good with same offering of food.
There is a fair amount of building going on at the moment as they gear up for more tourists.
We used South Ari Dive for our diving trips. They are professional and friendly.

Great for diving but not so great for snorkeling.
Great for diving but not so great for snorkeling. The reef is very far out and at times the current was very strong. Prices for trips to see the whale sharks were quite expensive at 75 USD. And there were tons of other boats at the same spots - very zoo-like.
Bikini beach, the only beach you can swim at in only your bathing suit is fairly shallow and windy. The better beach beside it requires you to be clothed.
However, the local people are super nice and helpful.

The staff tries to keep it very clean. They are friendly and would help with anything. The food is varied and very rich. The massage therapists are at a very good level. I did not like the markup of goods in the only store. The ratio is ten times.

Firstly to clarify the resort is located in Theluveligaa, not Dhangethi. Theluveligaa is a small island, I was a solo traveller (mid 30s female) the water villa is amazing and the outside space is spacious with a lot of seating options. I hardly spent time on the beach. The resort itself is very quiet even when full. There are no motorised sports however you can kayak, snorkel and dive (you can get your licence there) and do other trips: Whale Sharks, Mantas, Turtles. The food options are good, drinks are expensive a juice will set you back $18 staff are friendly, especially the dive instructors (Julia & Ebu) and receptionist (Maria) I would definitely recommend this resort and felt safe on my own.

Quiet, lovely colourful houses, quite small but surrounded by other islands. Head for the jetty especially at sunset. Two recommended cafes/ restaurants: Compass with its verandah dining tables where you can watch rays and baby nurse sharks being fed at dusk - the maitre d’ - Sampath was charming and obliging and the food was amazing. Try also the Blue Moon Cafe with the equally charming Anup as maitre d’. Not much coral as the island is surrounded by sea grass

A beautiful location. with some good snorkeling, which is provided by "Mother Nature" not the resort.
In all other respects the resort is poor to terrible.
We paid £10,500 for 10 days A.I.P; party of 4 in two poorly maintained Jacuzzi water villas. (Not a Jacuzzi- brand name - a Sovereign Spa Hot tub.)
Some services offered simply don't work, and management are fully aware of this but continue to advertise.
Guests are treated with disdain and rudeness by client relations team/management who are not visible.
Included trips - Sunset Punch / Dhangethi are an excuse to try and take some more cash from their guests.
They offer only excuses...."we are on an island so it is difficult to.....(insert complaint here)"
"All Inclusive MInus" is a better description of their package.
Got much better service, food, accommodation and customer care in Mauritius/Zanzibar/Thailand/Florida/Dubai/Turkey/Madeira/Cyprus/ Marakech etc etc.

Excellent service from the team specially O-Dey sir. Everyone here truly makes you feel at home. If you are staying at Dhangethi, you should stay at Endheri Sunset without thinking about it twice. they take care of everything from airport transfer to excursion to meals and everything is priced affordably and keep you comfortable throughout. Even the facilities like room, bathroom, private beach are very clean and enjoyable.

Everything!!! The hotel was perfect, the personnel very kind. As french people we really appreciate the champagne, wine and cheese. The food was really good special mention for the tuna.
We are Diver and we had a great experience with the diving center.
I recommend 100% this hotel ! Thank you so much for the wonderful holidays in this little paradise.

I loved staying at Amore Apartment. Everything was exactly as described. A very comfortable stay with all necessary amenities. Clear communication for the check-in/out procedure and during my stay Raju was always available for any possible question I had. The surroundings are quiet and safe. Dhangethi is a beautiful relaxing island with friendly people.

Very nice and helpful staff. Bestey, Eyesha are very nice people. They helped me with every question.We went on excursions together, they showed the real culture of the island and the Maldivians.. I am very glad that I chose this hotel. I will definitely come back here.. I advise everyone..

The house is super cute and convenient. All appliances are new and everything is well-maintained. The host would always check on us to see if everything was in order and he also assisted us with the speedboat transfers.
This was an amazing find in Dhangethi!
