Situated in Maafushi, 500 metres from Bikini Beach, Oceana Boutique features air-conditioned accommodation and a garden. The property has family rooms. Cozy beautiful outdoor area, they even have a cute rabbit! The owner Elvina is amazing and very helpful. All the staff are nice too actually (they are from Bali). In my opinion the top floor rooms are the nicest ones. The balcony in the room is only good enough to dry cloths, however there is a common balcony with a table and chairs where you can chill. There is a wardrobe and a TV. It is located near the only ATM of the island and a nice restaurant/bar Moonlight. Hint: the location in Google Maps is correct, but wrong in "maps.me" app.

I liked everything about this place, The room was amazing. The staff was so friendly and helpful (not to get money from you). The hotel helped me to get transfers, PCR test and also to do some activities in the Island. I liked the design and location so much. I loved the food ❤️❤️ you have to try the Maldivian & Indian food there. The owner is a great man, I had wonderful talks with him about everything in my mind about the Maldives.

Beautiful laid back public island.
Beautiful laid back public island. It gives you a nice vibe of how Maldivians live on these small islands. Its cozy and warm yet has the hustle bustle of a touristy destination. Perfect for both honeymooners, couples and families with/without kids. It has many food options and activities to do. Its not as pricey as resort islands. People are very warm and humble. We did not meet a single rude person on our entire Maldives trip. They love babies and kids. Everywhere you go they will smile at your kids. Makes you feel extremely welcomed. The beaches are just wow. Maafushi location is also good. Its 30 40 minute speed boat ride from Male. Has plenty of activities near by such as dolphin watching, sand banks, many snorkeling spots. Anyone going to Maldives MUST go to Maafushi! Do take your kids to the island park. Its really cute!

Small island with pretty much tourist, lots of choice of restaurant, As it is super small island you can just have strolling around - it only takes 2-3 hours less to able walk around the island. Some part of the island is quite packed and busy - but some part of the island is decent enough for rest. Choose either West end (close to the jail area) or East part of the island - not too crowd

Maafushi is a small island (you can walk around and visit the whole island by foot). Locals are very receptive, smily, kind, approachable, happy, with an amazing good island vibe. You can find many souvenir shops, mini markets around. In the beach side ( close to where I stayed at Arena beach hotel), you can find plenty of water sports and tours offers. I used Arena Water Sports and it was amazing. My meals were done at the Arena Beach Hotel bar/restaurante Coco and menu has many delicious options. Maafushi is a Muslin Island, so bear in mind swimsuits are only allowed at Bikini Beach, outside of this area you need to be covered.

The beach is amazing.
The beach is amazing. Maafushi is not so nice due to culture and lifestyle of locals. It is dirty, gypsy-like, full of cats, smells on fish, nothing to do and nothing happens. 5 times a day stores are closed due to prayer. Lot of watersports.

Maafushi is a very friendly island with lots of activities to keep you busy as well as space to relax and sunbathe. Food was good and catered to a western palette. If you want alcohol, the floating boat did provide that luxury, and easily accessible, although not required for great evening in maafushi.

While staying in Maafushi, my family and I got to interact with the local people. They are quite talented artists and extremely hardworking people. They are very much honest about their work and very friendly. They don’t have that much great living condition but there was not a single beggar. The crime rate is zero, so it is absolutely safe to travel at any time.

Breath taking view from the beach view room. Very warm ,friendly and professional staff. The hotel arranged transportation to and fro the airport which was amazing. The hotel arranged for the pcr test and handed us the results in the facility. Food was great. Cleanliness on point -I am an extremely picky person and when it comes to cleanliness- a lot of water activities provided by the facility you can book whichever package you like and enjoy a full or half day of adventures with reasonable prices. Great value for money. Highly recommend
