There aren't enough good words to describe the lovely little hotel that Silver Oasis is. It feels more like home. It is super clean, tidy, and the staff from Sri Lanka are the kindest, most patient, and thoughtful people. The Chef is an outstanding cook! The prices for both the hotel and the restaurant are great. The breakfast is always different, interesting and delicious. The location is perfect - you get a wonderful view of the ocean right out of your window, The jetty area is just a few minutes away by foot. The bikini beach is around 15 minutes by foot. The island itself is small and everything is relatively close. we didn't need a supermarket and such things so I don't know if there is one.

We stayed in room called Sultan. If there is a choice, please select it! There is nice balcony to relax outside. Staff is very helpful - organize free shuttle to & from the harbor, help with excursions. Even sent our forgotten item to us on different island!

The guesthouse is new, very clean with roof top restaurant ( great view ) and amazing food ( the chef is very good ). The staff were amazing - in 20 years of traveling i have never met hotel staff as nice as here.

The property meets expectations you have, when you book it. This is a kind of boutique hotel, with friendly staff. We have got promised room with sea view and a balcony/terace. This balcony/terace was extremley great for the period of time when it was raining. The room was spacious enough, very clean. The personnel was very friendly and breakfasts good as well

Great place and very welcoming staff. Breakfast was good each morning. Location of the property is excellent, as you can watch the surf at Coke's and find the right time to join in. Very nice quiet spot on a relaxed island, walking distance to everything.

What a wonderful stay! I recently booked a room at this guest house and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating from the moment I arrived. They went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed and make me feel welcome. The room itself was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The bedding was high-quality and the room was well-appointed with all the amenities I could want. I really appreciated the attention to detail in maintaining such a clean and well-kept space. The location of the hotel was also great. It was conveniently situated near all the attractions and restaurants I wanted to visit, making it easy to get around and see the sights. The neighborhood felt safe and lively, with plenty of things to do right within walking distance. The only thing that could have improved my stay would have been more breakfast options. While the breakfast provided was satisfactory, I wish there had been a wider variety of items to choose from. Overall, I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this guest house. The combination of the friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, and great location made for a truly enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a seamless and pleasant stay. I'll definitely be booking here again the next time I'm in the area!

Location is incredible, don't know if you could get better, we stayed in the room with the window looking straight to the beach, it is a fantastic room Staff are wonderful, helpful and accommodating, they make you feel so comfortable

*warm recommendation!!!* We stayed at Samura Guest House and enjoyed every second of it ! First we had an warm welcome when we arrived at the island, a boat was waiting for us at the airport and took us to the island, where Nur, the manager, was waiting for us with a car at the port and took us to the guest house.. We arrived and were amazed by the beauty of the place - authentic, amazingly designed, natural and beautiful with accessories that come straight from Indonesia and in addition from the local nature. Nur, the amazing manager who welcomed us warmly, explained about the guest house and the island and took us to a room that was right on the beach (it is important to choose the option of a room on the sea, a completely different experience), when our foot stepped outside the door it stepped on the sandy beach. In the room there was a bed, toilet, shower and a large window facing the beach so that everything connects together - inside, outside and nature. Outside there are many sitting areas - comfortable tables to eat, fun mattress beds, hammocks, a swing and all kinds of dedicated corners that are fun to lie in during the day... The breakfast includes an omelette, toasts, fruit, bread and various jams... Absolutely satisfying and great fun to sit with sand in your toes and enjoy the breakfast. Hassan, the chef of the place, and the rest of the staff are champions, nice, inquisitive and very helpful! We always respond positively and happily to any request.. The staff accompanied us to different places, gave us good recommendations and above all they were positive and good people! The place is in an excellent location on the island - in front of 2 excellent surfing spots, the guest house has a beach with comfortable swimming area and transparent water that you will not want to leave. We wholeheartedly recommend Samura. A once in a lifetime experience!
