Rasdu is a perfect island for the tourists that want to experience the real life with the locals on Maldives. It has 5-6 restaurants, one rooftop restaurant from which is the sunset perfect. They are having a gym in the open air, next to it is the football and volleyball court, I was watching the local matches each afternoon. The beach is nice all around the island, the local people are speaking English and they are all very kind and helpful. I was walking all around the island barefoot because you never know when the rain will come (even if it is raining, after one hour, the sun is coming again). My highest recommendation for the beautiful Rasdu island.
This is a local island not a resort so you have to respect customs. You’ll find shops and restaurants across the island which can be done in 15 min walk. Food wise, I’d recommend “Lemon Drop”. The food in the island is mainly tuna and coconut. Everything really fresh and fairly cheap. Bikini Beach is the place to go if you want to relax and do some snorkelling, you will need to wear shoes because of the dead coral. You’ll find thousands of colourful fishes, mostly in the morning as the water lever rises in the afternoon.
The standard of the food on the restaurants could be improved and bigger portions for the price. The people are friendly and the island is very quiet at night. After a heavy rainfall some of the streets are flooded so you may have to make several detours before you reach your destination.
Such a great island to stay on because locals live there. There is a bank, shops, post office and school as well as the usual tourist places offering excursions for diving, fishing and the like. My guide said he moved there from his home island because he thinks it is the most beautiful place in all the Maldives. It is hard to dispute that as Rasdhoo's backdoor is so stunningly beautiful, especially walking the sandbank of Madivaru Finolhu, which is just five minutes away by boat. There are so few people there and you really feel you have landed in the most beautiful place on earth. Rasdhoo is a haven for snorkeling and diving. The island is affordable to stay at. Don't waste ridiculous amounts of money staying at a resort island where you only ever meet tourists. Rasdhoo is a million times better as an option and it is easily affordable.
Best local island i have been to in Maldives, I have been to few islands, but Rasdhoo has a lot to offer, the sandbank right next to the island is the real meaning of paradise. The snorkeling and scuba diving excursions were the best experience i had in life.
Top place for diving. We dived for 6 days with Drop diving centre and can't recommend them enough. They have made our trip exceptional. Local people are very friendly and helpful. Great option for a budget holiday in Maldives. Food choice on the island is limited and overpriced, so bring your own snack.
Rasdu
Kuramathi is a very beautiful and Big Island, the best of this hotel without doubts is their Staff, for us this guys have 5 stars with smiles everyday and lots of respect. Very Special thanks to our servers Nafiu (what a great guy) and Thoif who provided an outstanding service in Farivalhu Restaurant also to Jazz (I don’t know if his name is right) in Laguna Bar. The desserts of Kuramathi Island are AMAZING and I totally recommend the all inclusive packages. Thank you so much for an incredible week.

We loved our stay at Wave Blue Guest Inn in Rasdhoo. The atmosphere was lovely and calm, and there were only four rooms in the hotel which made the place very cozy. The room was clean and fresh. Our host Sam was very friendly and arranged all the trips and things we wanted to do in Rasdhoo, for example snorkels and boat rides to the Picnic Island. Rasdhoo and Wave Blue exceeded our expectations and we will definitely go back to Wave Blue the next time we’re visiting Maldives.

The staff!!! People there is so nice and kind! The interior and the location of the hotel was excellent. We had an opportunity to try real Maldivian food, ask for that! Find Sippey, the funniest guy in the Island, go snorkel with him, he is an expert! Very generous and hilarious guy to be around, will tell you funny stories! Also spend a little bit extra and upgrade the room to a sunset view! We did that, and oh boy the view is worth every penny.
Rasdu
Cleanliness, amazing staff, decent location, spacious room, bathtub was great. Amazing tour options organized by staff. Space has a nice energy. Our reception to the hotel was one of the best we had in Maldives- we were welcomed with cold towel and fresh juice. Communication was efficient and transfers stress-free. Regardless of the 'things we didn't like', we would stay here again.

The staff are the highlight of this stay. They were very attentive. They let us check in early and check out late, according to the ferry schedule. The sand bank trip was also very well planned. They escorted us from the hotel to the boat, and provided chilled water, a beach umbrella, towels, and a picnic for the day.
All of the staff are super friendly and ready to help whenever needed! The room was also kept very clean and the wifi provided to use was excellent. Food was also amazing!! Quality was guaranteed in every aspect of my stay at Fins Dive and Leisure hotel and I had the best stay.
Rasdu
Absolutely everything! From the manager to the staff we received a great attention and support when needed. The hotel is really lovely. The rooms are so comfortable and the common area so pleasant. The hotel has available all kind of equipment for snorkeling free of charge.
The hotel was very pleasant and the staff really helpful. The hotel had private access to the beach, however it was not very clean so we end up going to Bikini Beach which was like 3 min walk. I’ll recommend to book the typical Maldivian dinner on the beach with them
No house keeping. worst experience. Hotel owner said that he will change towels and bed sheets once in 3 days. We stayed for 5 days and nothing was fulfilled. Will make sure never to go this property again.
