The hosts provided many information before our arrival and waited for us even though we arrived late. The villa itself is beautiful, big, modern and has everything that we needed. We strongly recommend renting it and it’s a pitty we didn’t get to stay there longer!

Absolutely gorgeous location, and fabulous property with great amenities and wonderful little details. The property is a few kilometers off the main road through the jungle, right on the shore of the lagoon - secluded, peaceful, and beautiful. The lagoon is stunning, and there’s amazing views everywhere on the property. Plentiful hammocks, chairs, and picnic tables for relaxing and enjoying the views. Kayaks and canoes for exploring (life jackets included). Beautiful painted details on the outsides and insides of the buildings. Our room was clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and we had a large, screened-in porch with two hammocks and a small table and chairs. Breakfasts were delicious and the hosts were kind and helpful. It really feels like paradise :)

Very clean and very quiet hotel. Very relaxing ! It’s very big and it’s in the middle of a forest with a wonderful view on the lagoon You can rest there in the hamacs or go kayaking Just remember that it’s outside Bacalar (5 min drive)

Great value for the location! I couldn't find anything similarly priced on the lake. It's a neat property, huge. The studio apartment is large too, more than enough room for my family of 5! One of my favorite stays on the trip. Sebastion's recommendations for food / tours / etc were on point!

It was not only a beautiful location but Norma was very welcoming. It was my first taste of paradise. The breeze by the lagoon and the trees in the garden were just perfect. The fresh water in the lagoon was always the right temperature. It was quiet and extremely relaxing. Norma welcomed us with a nice meal with all local and delicious foods.

Staying here felt like a dream. Seamless blend of nature, seclusion and luxury. Very accommodating staff (Esp: Alex, Manuel and Carlos), and excellent food (Club Sandwich FTW). The lagoon was pristine and it is absolutely worthwhile to rent the jet-ski for an hour. Overall, I would highly recommend

This was the best stay of our road trip around the Yucatán peninsula. Wonderful house in fantastic lakeside location with excellent facilities such as paddle boards and kayaks, lots of outdoor seating areas, a BBQ with outdoor dining table. Fantastic sun rises. We also appreciated the bean-to-cup coffee machine with beans, and the provision of copal tree resin crystals and mortars to burn them in to keep insects away. Excellent wi-fi including at the end of the private pier. My only disappointment was that we couldn't stay longer than 2 nights! I would definitely return.
