Adhara Hacienda Cancun, hotel in Cancún

In the heart of Cancun, a short walk from popular sites, this hotel provides free shuttle service to the beach along with on-site dining options and many modern amenities.

Good location in downtown Cancun on a quiet side street, but close enough to walk to restaurants, shops, and markets. We felt safe walking in the neighborhood. The inner courtyard with pool and swim up bar were very nice and not crowded while we were there. The free breakfast was outstanding with a full buffet and made-to-order hot dishes. Staff were friendly and the front desk spoke some English which is very helpful if needed. Room was large and clean and the shower pressure was very good with hot water. Room and hotel grounds were clean. WiFi seemed to work well everywhere.

Ocean Dream Cancun by GuruHotel, hotel in Cancún

With 2 outdoor pools, an on-site dove center and à la carte, international restaurant, Ocean Dream BPR is located in Cancún, right on a beautiful white-sand beach.

The pools are nice and clean, relative to other pools we have seen in Mexico. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. The poolside room can get loud so not ideal for a young family but convenient and great for others. The location is on the beautiful beach and also a short walk to all the action of cancun night life. We stayed for one night with teenage kids and it was perfect.

Sina Suites, hotel in Cancún

A 5-minute walk from La Isla Beach, Sina Suites features a private marina and outdoor swimming pool with lagoon views. This resort offers spacious accommodations set in gardens.

Me and my mum stayed at Sina Suites for 3 nights. The room was really big and clean. There were lots of towels available for the room, pool and the beach at no charge. The pool was quiet and lovely and we used it each morning and night. The staff was friendly and recommended a wonderful public beach to visit. Walking to the La Isla mall along the road takes 1 hour. There are taxis available to get around too. We also enjoyed using the kitchen and having breakfast on our terrace with lagoon views each morning! Would recommend this stay. It is great value for money!

This is absolutely my favorite spot to vacation .. the people, the beaches, the weather .. it is just so beautiful. At no time did I ever feel unsafe. We took buses, taxis, and walked places and had no problems at all. Xcaret is a must - the wildlife and natural beauty is breath taking. We ate at our resorts most of the time, but we did go to a couple little taco spots. Everything was good. We visited Juarez Beach, Isla Mujeres, Playa del Carmen, and ventured to some cenotes. The people are absolutely awesome and truly treat you like "familia" if you show them you are interested in them and their culture.

    Everything was perfect.

Everything was perfect. During our trip we visited Tulum, Playa del Carmen, Cozumel and Cancun. The 2nd day we took an amazing snorkeling tour in PC and the 3rd day we went to Xcaret…the most amazing place that has everything. My favorite part…Mexico Spectacular Show 😍😍😍! The last 2 day in Cancun we stayed in the hotel and its beach and we had a walk to the night club area and restaurants. We did something different everyday, including where and how we ate. Some days we cooked in our hotels because it’s pretty easy to get groceries or to eat in a local market! We were really tired the last days but I didn’t want to go back home yet, I still wake up at home wishing I could go out to enjoy that surprisingly spectacular landscape! Everybody can see there’s never enough time to know everything The Riviera Maya offers!!

Cancun is beautiful. The beaches are amazing and the nightlife was so fun. I enjoyed the street food and drinking margaritas. Be selective of where you book your stay. My hotel was unfriendly (Adhara Hacienda) to me. They ruined my trip. Do not book here!

I would not book Moon Palace through booking.com again.

I would not book Moon Palace through booking.com again. Using an intermediary meant communication with the hotel was very poor. We were giving a booking number, which the hotel acknowledged, but the app didn't, which meant using the app for pre check in wasnt possible. Payment was taken without notification of how much (it was the full amount) or exactly when. The transfer to the hotel from the airport was a bad start to the holiday. It was difficult to find the bus stop ( local taxi drivers directed us), and the Moon Palace staff were not very helpful or pleasant at the airport. My son and his family on a different flight were told they weren't on the list, and to get a taxi. The hotel later insisted they were a 'no show' and refused to reimburse their cost of the taxi. Turns out despite booking and paying with the hotel directly, they never received an email with any directions. Without these difficulties, this would have been a glowing recommendation, as staff at the Sunrise, and facilities were exceptionally good.

During our 6 days stay, every meal was excellent, especially the food at the steakhouse. The room was always clean and tidy, and the staff I met always smiled happily. The hotel is very good, very friendly staff. We stayed for one week, but we did not have all inclusive, as we had trips around Cancun area almost every day. It took us around 20 minutes to get from and to the Airport, depending on the trafic(with taxi). Also, if you want to get around hotel zone or to go to downtown Cancun, you can take the bus which goes on the Main road, R1 or R2. The hotel also has a nice beach, but unfortunately, in the period we stayed the waves were quite big and almost all days we had a red flag.

The location is suitable for people who want the vibe of a hotel with a personal touch. There's a small kitchenette with salt, pepper and oil. They also have pots, plates and cutleries to make it easy to make a meal yourself. It is self-service, so you're given a code, and once you come in, you sort everything else yourself. There is no room service available. They have a fridge with some water and drinks available. The area is close to the airport in Cancun. It is a good value for money.

A charming boutique hotel in a good location, just off the main hotel zone. Easy access to Isla Mujeres, Cancun city centre and the shops and restaurants of the hotel zone. Stunning lagoon views from many rooms and pool area. The rooftop terrace served drinks in the evenings at sunset, which was a nice surprise. Morning coffee is available at the hotel and breakfast can be bought at the shop around the corner. A warm recommendation for this hotel!

Food was really the best all inclusive we have been to. Super clean. We were looking for a place that was not too noisy at the main pool (like some all inclusive). They had music playing, but it wasn’t too loud, and about an hour of activities - the perfect amount of time. Although the hotel was full, it never felt crowded. The pool and beach were really nice and the beach was kept clean of seaweed by hardworking employees.

There are very few hotels you go to and are blown away by the service. They are exceptional. Couldn't do enough and always smiling and very willing to help. The beach directly out the back is brilliant, perfect for a nice walk along (go away from Cancun not towards it). Nice coffee from the Cafe that was included in the all inclusive. The drinks are great and pretty generous with the measures also.

Unlike many of the all inclusive resorts in the hotel strip that are very strict, this option, although not adult-only, did not close the pool earlier than 9, did not police the beach too heavily, and it was peaceful and relaxing. Just the right amount of people to feel comfortable.
