We had a nice cottage experience. Beautiful and clean wooden cottage with good kitchen facilities and fireplace. Mountanious surroundings. Easy self check in/out. Cool suspension bridge experience close by.

Beautiful lodges up in the mountains where you can watch sunset as the mist rolls in. The cabins were cosy and well equipped, and the staff were lovely and super helpful. There's also a bar and a small shop on the site which are mega helpful, and it's easy, quick, and super cheap getting food delivered up to the lodges from the town beneath.

Beautiful, rustic, old world. it felt like home in many ways. The vegetation was stunning with incredible flowers. This was not a tourist town like the coastal towns that are so busy and full of people. It’s small, rural, lush, and high. You feel like it’s impossible to be so high on such steep, narrow roads with vistas spreading out below. It’s like no place we’d ever been.

Cabaña con Bañera y Chimeneas en Puesta de Sol is a recently renovated chalet in El Pacífico where guests can make the most of the garden and terrace.

What a wonderful place to spend a few days in the mountains! If you’re hanging out in San Jose del Pacifico for more than a night, you’ll appreciate the extra comfort of a nice full sized bathtub, lots of privacy and immersion in nature, and excellent location within walking distance (or even easier with motorcycle taxi). The full sized desk was a nice bonus touch.
