I really enjoyed the location in the historical center of Morelia at a walking distance from the main monuments. The free parking space was also very close to the hotel, on the same street. Furthermore, the hotel premises were brand new, and everything worked well. The breakfast on the rooftop was also very nice.

They had a great variety of fruits. Also the staff were wonderful. Everything looked clean and neat. I had problem with the noisy neighbors but security solved it.

Arturo is a great host, beautiful clean almost new room. Very comfortable beds. Beautiful interior courtyard. Close to the center of town, about 10 minutes walk. Great restaurants. Overall we really enjoyed it, very good price also.

Casa Vieja is a beautifully restored property in a fabulous location to explore the historic downtown centre of Morelia. The inner courtyard with water fountain is a beautiful spot for breakfasts and the guest rooms are immaculate. The location was exceptional, courtyard and patios were beautiful and Raul went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. The hotel is older and doesn't have the modern amenities but the room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Raul and his wife whipped up some great breakfasts and when we left really early on our check out day, Raul was waiting for us with a taxi and steaming hot coffee cups to go!

    Morelia is a fabulous town, with great architecture and a friendly vibe. We stayed on one of the main streets, within easy walking distance of the historical centre. There's a couple of restaurants with rooftop dining overlooking the Cathedral. The taxi from the Autobus terminal to the old centre cost 75 pesos, paid to the ticket clerk before you get in your cab.

    Morelia is a stunning city.

    Morelia is a stunning city. The people are friendly and kind. Speaking Spanish is important as most locals do not speak English. Morelia is the home to the arts of all kinds. I have been to the symphony, theater, choir performances, all sorts of dancing, lectures, artisan shows, and more. This is NOT a city for a whitewashed experience. If you love the true culture of Mexico, this is the city for you. In Morelia you will find a plethora of universities, beautiful parks, a large zoo, a planetarium, large malls for shopping, hiking and biking places and artists everywhere. The entire region is jammed with some of the finest artists in the country.

    Beautiful city. The historical centre is very lovely.

    Beautiful city. The historical centre is very lovely. Try to plan to be there on Saturday evening at 9pm to see the wonderful fireworks at the cathedral. Be there early. They only last 5 minutes but they're great.

    A historical cultural center with many museums, pink stone Baroque architecture, many outdoor cafes, plazas, good food everywhere. A lively, rather sophisticated city indicative of its many colleges and universities. Spanish Catholic influences with a strong undertone of deep indigenous traditions. Outlying areas with ancient archeological sites and interesting artisan towns. Third largest lake in Mexico.

    We enjoyed the main street, the park, the street performers, the aqueduct, the magnificent architectural tours available. We also loved to listen and dance to our favorite band, Musico Vocal Horus, which plays five nights a week at Onix restaurant.

    This is a great hotel. Our room was large, the bed was comfortable, and did not creak like others commented. Air conditioning took time because the room was large but it worked well and is needed. Wifi was very good. We were on the street side, but if you close the wooden shutters they blocked out all of the noise both in the hotel and on the street. It's one block from San Francisco and 3 or 4 from the man square. Breakfast is good, Between 2 menu choice, we had eggs, beans, bread, coffee and juice.

    The location was excellent, and the facilities were interesting, well-appointed, comfortable, and clean. Sandra checked us in, and she was extremely helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our time in Morelia very much and enjoyed staying and the Casa de Eugenia as well. Sandra made us a lovely breakfast in the morning too.
