I went for a medical reason, not for vacation.
I went for a medical reason, not for vacation. After going I personally wouldn’t choose puerto Vallarta for vacation unless you stay in hotel Moussai or Garza Blanca or anywhere near that area because those beaches are blue. I stayed at Playa Royale which are apartments right next to the hard rock hotel and when I tell you that beach is murky. It’s like going to Galveston beach. So I do not recommend at all. If you want nice beaches in Mexico, I’d do Cancun or Cabo’s. January has perfect weather, very pleasant people visiting, working and living in the area. Lots of stuff to do or not do, if relaxing is your mission. Affordable Taxi or Uber rides can get you to Puerto Vallarta or Bucerias within 30 minutes. Nuevo is nicer than Puerto Vallarta, quiet and peaceful versus the hustle and bustle of touristy Malecon in Vallarta, lots of traffic, noise associated with it etc. Nuevo is pricier , big money, and affluence in Nuevo area where I stayed. Well groomed walk ways (don't have to worry much about stepping in a hole like Vallarta)- median has walkway for joggers, dog walks, regular walk. Its upscale for sure.Guest review bySJS - 10.0
