Casa Gitana was incredible. We stayed for 4 days and hardly left the villa. The rooftop pool is comfortable with the best view. They also offer breakfast and lunch specials which were delicious. Highly recommend. It’s about a 10-15 min walk into town but it’s beautiful and you pass the turtle sanctuary where they do daily release of the baby turtles.

We had such a wonderful stay at Casa Laud! You’re right on the beach, just a short walk from the main town. The rooms are clean and comfortable and there’s water pressure in the shower (which can be hard to come by here)! Irma and Oscar are wonderful hosts who are so warm and welcoming and help make your stay comfortable. They have really worked hard to make this place a small haven in paradise. There’s a little spot near the water with hammocks and places to lounge in the shade. The rooftop is the perfect place to watch the sunrise/sunset or gaze at the stars at night. Wifi is good and the bed and pillows are cozy! Irma helped us set up a boat tour of the mangroves and a ride out to the ocean. You must try Irma’s cooking, it’s so good and feels like home! Just ask her for the menu. We would (and will!) come back every time we visit Chacahuua.

This is the kind of place I’d like to give 20/10 as a review. They take perfect care of every single detail. The architecture is impressive and everything is just amazing. The teepees are really cool, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. Despite being a bit far from town, I enjoyed having the beach to myself and the walks into town. Plus, there's a colectivo passing by every hour. The place was impeccably clean, and the breakfast was delicious. I would absolutely return!

The room was simple, as well as the rest of the hostel, so it kept us going outside and enjoy the beautiful Chacahua. It is in a great location, just 5-10 minutes to Chacahua center. Max and Alex were super nice and helped with anything we needed, they also offered us all the possible activities in town. The showers and toilets are pretty clean and refreshing during the hot weather. The fan is crucial at night as it was pretty hot with not much breeze.
