What a cool spot!
What a cool spot! We are definitely not the all inclusive resort kind of travelling family. So when we stumbled upon Puerto Adventuras, we were hapily impressed. There was so much to do within walking distance. There is a park, kids camps, beautiful beaches, swimming pools, amazing choice restaurants, and an overall really cool vibe. I liked it because although it felt like - yes this is definitely an international tourist destination - it also felt grounded and down to earth. In addition to the travellers who pass through, many people live and work in Puerto Adventuras giving it a really lovely family neighbourhood feel.Guest review byZoeCanada - 10.0

The resort was nice and all of it's facilities. The spa was really really nice. My favorite restaurants were the Japanese and Bloved. The food in the daily restaurants were average. The alcohol selection was way below par, I was not pleased at all. Worst selection I've ever seen. Everything was the "house brand", Major common brands like Don Julio and Tito's were not available if you didn't have the "black wristbands for the Timeshares".. MAJOR NEGATIVE. I enjoyed the whole experience. I ate at different local restaurants in Puerto Aventuras and Tulum but mostly at the hotel. I spent a lot of time at the pool where they had water aerobics, bingo and other fun activities for all ages.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

PA is a gated community requiring showing ID every time you enter. It is boating/yatching community predominantly consisting of condominiums. Numerous restaurants and gift shops around the central dolphin lagoon area as well as two money exchanges. Central golf club and some tennis courts. The room was cute, and had a mini fridge for my beer, and the breakfast really nice. The beach is much closer then we expected and very beautiful. Its definitely worth it. The hotel is on a side street so guests should think about renting bikes or a golf cart for their stay so they can explore the town.
