Right in the jungle! We heard amazing birds and the plants were spectacular . We visited two cenotes which were both amazing. The owners are super friendly and treated us like family. Roberto cooked us a delicious dinner one night. Can’t recommend this place enough

A cute hotel next to an eclectic, interesting building...the rooms were big and ours had a fridge so we could keep our items cold. With breakfast included and a last minute switch of rooms to accommodate our friend, we are super pleased. Also located near central plaza, the beach and a good choice of restaurants nearby. I don’t want to hear one bad review about this place. I have not one bad thing to say. The staff goes above and beyond, they are kind, friendly and very helpful. The rooms are so clean, the property is being constantly maintained. The beach is not the best, not very swimmable (there’s manmade sand bars in them for protection I presume), but that isn’t their fault it’s the location. Around the bend the waters are just different. Do your research if you want clear turquoise, it’s a different area. But the sand is well maintained and laying on the beach is still beautiful. They are serious about the adult pools, they will kick out anyone who isn’t of age. Which I actually appreciate even though I went with my teens. Is the food top tier? Not really but if you stick to Mexican it’s delicious. They are trying to satisfy tastes from all over the world. So be respectful and open minded and find something you like. Make your reservations for dinner as soon as you arrive or you will be eating buffet every night (which I didn’t mind). Overall I’m super happy with the time we spent there. Wendy was ace in helping us set up excursions. And Freddy didn’t even hesitate when we booked the wrong building away from our friends, to get us to the right spot. Great people. Great time.

    I absolutely loved my stay at Tere’s apartment!

    I absolutely loved my stay at Tere’s apartment! It’s a bright, stylish, and cozy space with everything you could possibly need. The apartment was spotless, well-organized, and thoughtfully prepared. Every detail made me feel welcomed and comfortable. Tere is a great host, and the whole experience was smooth from start to finish. I’d happily come back!

    I loved this quiet beach town and will come again.

    I loved this quiet beach town and will come again. It was the perfect place to come and relax without the crowds of Tulum or Playa del Carmen. I felt safe walking at night and in general. There are some truly excellent restaurants and one of them, Punta Corcho made me cry when I tasted their shrimp soup. It was that good! I loved swimming at the nearby cenotes, which were like an fairytale and having a fresh coconut every day was a treat! Truthfully, I was in need of a little mental and physical healing after suffering a knee injury that took too long to heal and Puerto Morelos hit the spot. I can’t wait to return and next time I’ll stay longer.

    Very nice little town not too overcrouded of tourists. Enough restaurants and bars, frendly Mexicanos. I did try a few retaurants and encountered "mama mia" take away, few tables on site a kind of pizza with shrimps : fantastic and I a "gourmet"

    Nice town with a white sand beach great for snorkelling and swimming. If you want to take a boat for snorkelling they supply all equipment and take you towards the reef, very easy to organise at the time, inexpensive too. You can lay free at the beach and swim all day with no hassles.

    Lovely town, not too big and has all you need, grocery store, restaurants, cafes etc. Becoming more and more touristy, with lots of construction, which is concerning as far as how will they be able to manage the infrastructure such as water/plumbing/power etc……???

    Very clean and super well maintained… everyday they had people taking care of the place, gardeners, pool cleaners, waiters, full house of service stuff… lots of white colors and materials that makes hotel feel more natural and connected with local environment. Hotel personal was friendly and respectful all around the clock, with smiles and good vibes. Lots of shows and activities through out the day! Best place for the value we’ve traveled to in Mexico so far!!! Absoultely Amazing

    Interesting architecturally, there is a small pool and great central location. Armando who is a manager is very friendly and speaks very good English as does his fellow lady staff member. Good breakfast with excellent coffee and refills included. A good economical choice in a town of inflated hotel prices.
