A little piece of heaven on Earth, no kidding! Loved the body soap smell like cookie (need something like that for my home). Food is great, drinks are very nice, prices are fair. I'll recommend this place to everyone I know.

Lovely and quiet property located just in front of a nice longboard surf break. The hosts were so warm and welcoming! They offer a great selection of board rentals. The rooftop lounge area offered incredible views. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable, and we loved the kitchen area equipped with a good sized fridge, plates, cups, utensils, wine opener, etc. I will definitely stay here again in the future, hopefully for longer next time!

Punta de Mita is a wonderful village on the water with a variety of restaurants and activities. It is a great location to surf and fish, and sightsee- whale watching, and snorkeling near the islands is a highlight. People are friendly and helpful- taco and burger stands on the east side of town are great. Learn a bit of Spanish and have a memorable stay!

Very quiet, chill beach town that is quickly growing in popularity. Spotless beaches and bougie beachside accoms hug the coastline. Great seafood is easy to find and ranges in price. Cheap and delicious taco stands are abundant in town as well. We rented a car from PVR and visited nearby Sayulita, San Pancho, etc. Pro tip: do not speed! Policia are very active in the area and love to “ticket” (read: shake down) foreigners. We stayed at hotel basalto and it was absolutely fabulous. Couldn’t recommend the area more.

Punta Mita itself is not as it appears in brochures and advertising blurb - some high end restaurants that are over priced and rely on their beachfront appeal but back from these the area is generally dirty and very poor. The gated villa and 4 seasons complex is obviously a whole different ball game but you pay through the nose for access to it.

A very quiet town in the process of growing. Beautiful beach a walk away from the hotel I stayed in (Suites de Mita), food options were either what would be expected of a resort town or street food--not a lot of options in between, but that worked fine for the two weeks I was there. I took the bus from the Puerta Vallarta airport and spent about $2.00 each way, but I'm fine with a backpacking/surfer's expectations/budget. My hotel was clean and affordable, and the location was perfect for avoiding large crowds but having access to surfable waves. The town is small enough to be walkable, and the people were friendly and helpful.

A very small town. We walked every street in two evenings. Very mexican feeling, not fancy at all unless you head to the resorts. You can't access much of the peninsula because the resorts are gated. Some nice restaurants on the beach and a few funky ones in town. Loved the quiet feeling. Nice beach walks and snorkle tour right from the marina. Easy taxi ride from airport.

We spent 4 days I total and we ran out of things to do in 1 day. The town is one road, and after speaking with locals its designed to be a down for the wealthy. There are not really cheap restaurants and the ones we found were closed everytimewe tried to go. The restaurants are beautiful!! That's if you want to pay for $100/person for a meal. It's not truly Mexico unfortunately.

This is a very relaxing hotel. I have been to many resorts, and this has to be one of the best. I love how there is an Adults only side and family/kid side, so you can accommodate both. The property itself is imaculate. This property is gorgeous. They have staff working 24 hours to make sure everything is clean from the pool to the restaurants. Excillent customer service. I love this propert, and we will be going back. Never felt so safe and secure.

Our hostess was very nice and we had a great conversación with her. The property is authentic Mexican style. The breakfast was beans and scrambled eggs with coffee. The hotel next door had a good restaurant albeit a bit expensive. The views from the property were awesome!

All the staff is excellent. Everybody's attitud is perfect. Service is great. Nigh Activities are amazing. The food is variated, the reserverd dinners ares extraordinary. Swimming pools very clean. The facilities are quite amazing. Specially loved the private beach on the back of the hotel rather than the pools. You have more privacy. Even though the water is warm there's quite some rocks. Breakfast is top notch, buffet you have a bit of everything highly recommend.
