Fantastic location near the heart of the old city. It was easy walking distance to most tourist sites. The staff was very helpful calling taxi's, etc. The view from the rooftop terrace was amazing and you can have your breakfast up there. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful place to stay and explore San Miguel de Allende. It is centrally located yet quiet and peaceful to have a good rest. The pool is very nice to swim in the day or evening. The room was very nice with a comfortable big bed, plugs near the bed, and a lovely view into the pool area. Breakfast was served in another room upstairs which also allowed for beautiful views towards the tip of the cathedral. Would love to stay again and already it recommended to others

Our stay with Live Aqua San Miguel was an absolutely wonderful experience. This was certainly one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at. The setting and architecture of the hotel was so lovely, we loved the breakfast in the morning and drinks by the pool. It was a peaceful oasis and the staff made us feel welcome and were very attentive to all of our questions. We loved the small details in the hotel that made our stay so special, the service in the room was outstanding we felt completely spoiled. The location is a short and safe walk to the main square and we enjoyed been just outside of the busy area where it was quiet and peaceful. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in San Miguel - having visited the other hotels in the area offering 5 star experiences as well - I would choose Live Aqua again every time.

We go to SMA to visit relatives, but I would like to go for at least a month to unwind, work remotely and visit my favorite places more frequently. We especially enjoy the walkability of the central zone. Drivers and walkers get along famously. Music, Food and service is all top notch. There is a lot to see from colonial buildings to art to religious experiences. We studied the Mexican history and enjoyed learning about the central role that SMA played in the early formation of Mexico.

This is a pretty little city filled with narrow, steep cobblestone streets. At over a mile high, walking the city streets gives travelers a workout (cabs are readily available). There are many beautiful cathedrals and churches, colorful architecture, and lots of markets to shop in. Due to the large influx of ex-pats, the price of restaurants and goods for sale is fairly high. There are lots of shady places to sit and enjoy the sights and tons of coffee shops for an afternoon boost. In the evening the main square (called el garden) is filled with live music. Be sure to visit the Botanical Garden just outside of town (a cab will take you there).

We loved San Miguel so much and our scouting trip was a big success. While staying at Casa Luna we managed to find an apartment in Centro for rent and are now in process of moving there from Chicago. We will hopefully be able to make San Miguel our future home! We love the climate, the friendly people, wonderful restaurants, vibrant community and the vitality of the culture. We are both fit and healthy and love the fact it is a walking town. San Miguel is hilly and the narrow cobblestone roads and sidewalks might be challenging for those who have trouble walking. When we return, I shall be more practical about my footwear! High heels are a liability which will be something of an adjustment for me! We both LOVED watching the sun go down drinking cocktails on the many beautiful rooftops with stunning views over the town. We’ll be back- and soon!❤️ElizabethUnited States of America
