This was the most beautiful place I’ve ever been. The building itself is so well constructed and beautiful. If you like wood work and architecture, you will love this place. The view is insane. The breeze from the ocean and cleverly place cross-ventilation made ac unnecessary. The view from the roof is insane!!! We star gazed ever night. The beach is a very quick walk and there’s no one around. It’s so beautiful. Nothing I say can do this place justice. We are already trying to plan our next trip!!

We loved our amazing balcony with magical sunrise views, and the soothing soundtrack of the ocean waves. The swimming pools are magnificent, and it is just a 10 minute walk down to the beach. The whole team was wonderful, helpful, and kind. Ana's breakfasts are amazing, especially her chilaquiles and Jamaica agua! We hope to come back again.

Salchi is a tiny little town with one of the most beautiful beaches ever! White sand, little shells, and somewhat swimmable. We pretty much had the beach to ourselves! The most people we saw was maybe 10?! It can have some big waves when the wind is up, but we managed to get some snorkeling in during the calm and saw some wonderful marine life. The food is delicious! Every meal was fantastic! We were so spoiled!! Fernanda surprised us with dinner on the beach for a birthday celebration and WOW was it a wonderful meal, atmosphere and service. The room had a spectacular view, was clean, comfortable (chairs and hammock on the deck overlooking the ocean), quiet and private. What stands out the most was our hosts - the level of service provided to us, and every other guest, was impeccable. They made us feel welcome and like long time friends. A hidden piece of paradise and highly recommend the Manta Raya!!

    The property is located in a very isolated area, approximately 2 miles off-road (you will definitely need a car to get there). There is a beautiful beach 300 yards down from the property; however, it is not swimmable. The bedrooms lack air-conditioning and glass windows. They are made of wood with meshed grids, allowing you to hear everything at night: waves that sound like thunder, roosters, and barking dogs. The view is spectacular, and the pool is very nice. However, the house clearly needs refurbishment—particularly the kitchen, utensils, chairs, pillows, and perhaps a simple small speaker for music. This is a romantic destination for a couple seeking adventure and relaxation—except for the fact that we encountered two tarantulas (one in the bedroom and one in the kitchen), which could be unsettling for some guests.
