Great energy along the promenade. Lots of expat retirees and local families. The town has covered sidewalks to keep you out of the heat. Many different beaches with completely different vibes. We preferred Maderas beach for cleanliness and walking distance to town. Playa la ropa was super crowded - we didn’t stay. Beautiful Villa overlooking the sea, really comfortable including drinking water and the daily cleaning service was a plus! Beautiful outdoor kitchen which was well stocked and easy to make simple meals in. Internet good enough to work with. Buses go past doorstep every few minutes to the centre, Oxxo just down the road, plus a great Italian restaurant. All the staff were very attentive and polite and owner is very responsive.
