I would describe Kuantan is a 'Calm' city (not too busy, crowded). You can enjoy the nature view and city view as well. There are few beaches that have amazing view and provide activities (the most famous is Teluk Cempedak, Pantai Batu Hitam, Beserah, Cherating, etc.) As for the food, the famous in town is seafood restaurants and can easily find coffee shop that sell great coffee. Just walk the town, and you will find something attractive.

Things I wish Kuantan will improve: - Local Restaurants to improve hygiene - open-closing hours of food eateries not accurate in Google - seafronts to upgrade to Australian beachfronts. So much potential for Kuantan. Majlis Bandaran to work harder!!! - road qualities to repair quickly. Many potholes! - traffic lights too long to change so long traffic jams - list of food eateries with distance to supply to hotels so tourists know where to go.

the first room i got is better then others i move up to.
the first room i got is better then others i move up to.beside because of old key was problem.. whenever i upgrade only plus money rm20 still not feel like premium from aspect privacy and security. window i seen no lock but still have grey to cover the window from someone who want to stealing from inside room. The toilet also many dirty and some.of window was broken. from the other side can look . for me, this is not room with secure otherwise people last before we don't know they complain or not. around 2.00am i decide to go back because feeling not secure from this room. I am texting to Manager this hotel in charge and then move up one more last time to go beside. new room like premium done checked from secure and all. Then suddenly two cockroach come to me. Many dust who got Allergic in an environment like me will get disease and can't stand to dust .. here arw my riviews only about my first time new experience each hotel budget.. so far everything that is normal from the othet serviced . thank you very much to this staff to come and help me when before last evening. i hope this 2 hotel will fix and get maintenance all room which is water leaking, no pump water from a7.. also from the aspect secure of the guess..btw i have nothing here to guide or show up.. it just relevant change in one night experienced .. naz

My wife and I travel to Kuantan mainly for our daughter who is in IIUM. East Cost Mall is great shopping experience especially for Terengganurian like us. The advantage was the chaotic road traffic going in the main entrance.

Not that far from KL, quite reachable, lots of many cafes to visit. Expect crowds near tourist areas. Parking is a challenge, and the enforcers will give out summons if you don't pay the fee. Even paying the parking fee is a challenge, not many stores carry the Coupons and the app that they use for parking in the city (PahangGo) is very lousy. If you are a visitor, probably just wise to park anywhere and pray the enforcers can't see your car. The saman fee is bearable compared to the headache figuring out how to pay the legit fee.

Our group of friends went there for an event. The city not a big place and we had great fun there, taking lots of photos, enjoyed the food (especially the cendol! ) The local people were friendly and welcoming, but be warned - the Bandaraya people works very hard - giving out parking summons even at 9pm!!!!

It simple but it's just nice... would be good if have nasik lemak 😜. Location near beach and it is a stretch long beach that good for morning walk while enjoying sunrise. Got variety of local cuisine/restaurant nearby the hotel. About 20 min driving to Kuantan town. More and less 10 min to Teluk Cempedak ( depend on trafic laaa... banyak kereta, lambat la sampai)

I love the location. It was a situational location with seafront, great swimming pools which was good for kids. The most important was the safety of the inhoused guest. The Management implemented the highest security to the hotel, beach and designated floor to our room with the touch-card base. I felt that was great. My kids got allergic to dust and I suggest the owner can provide a vacuum and we can do our own house cleaning. Also, to provide packed sugar and creamer.

We got the room downstairs which is right in front of the pool & the communal pantry, so it was convenient with the kids. The hotel is within walking distance to the beach & a lot of fast food restaurants. There is also a mini zoo nearby (~5 minutes drive) to occupy the kids. Overall, it is a comfortable stay in a cosy place. Recommended!

The location of the hotel was middle of the Kuantan city which is very near to every tourist attraction. Parking lot underbasement was scary but then there were a lot parking outside as well. The pool was nice for my kid and for the parents as well except that the clorine smell was too strong. Room size is okay, i mean my expectation was not too high as the price is still reasonable.
