Our stay was perfect. To be completely honest, there were a few (very!) minor things to improve on: some of the staff was obviously new to the job, the wine list was composed of one red and one white wine, some of the facilities were not finished yet (e.g. dive shop). That being said, everyone was super-friendly, helpful, motivated - we had an absolutely great time, my daughter and me. No problem stayed unsolved. The rooms were more than comfortable, the architecture of the place is beautiful, the setting on the beach and near the pool is gorgeous. If somehow possible, we will return, hopefully with all of my three daughters. Warmest thanks to the management of the hotel and of the group (and to the operations team), who are doing a difficult job in a complicated legal, tax, technical, etc. environment, but who recruited a team of motivated and cheerful young people putting real effort in their work, who are thriving for perfection, and who earned my admiration for the open-minded attitude to improvement and learning. Bravo! On a side note: we hiked in the jungle, we went for diving, was real fun. All (perfectly!) organised by the resort.

The host have been so kind and helpful all the time. They even helped my newcomers friends and I to organise a BBQ, campfire on the beach and a speaker for music, and drinks in their fridge, which helped us eventually throwing THE party of the island with about 20 guests. They even welcomed me in their house for a night when I decided to stay longer even though they had no free chalet. Ella's place, my big big crush so far on my round trip of all Malaysia. A must!

Nice unit. Right in front of the beach. Comfy beds. Clean bathroom. For wifi u can hang out at the office for better reception. The beach is well maintained. Breakfast is sufficient. U can go snorkeling, bicycle ride, hiking. Kg Genting is on the quiet side of Tioman so expect a very chill and layback environment here.

Beach shack was great in all ways! The staff is very nice, the location is perfect and on a beautiful beach. We loved our room which was more then enough space for two to sleep and we really enjoyed having a little front porch. Breakfast is a lovely bonus and a sizable coffee or tea included. Best place to stay in Juara, and you can even enjoy a lovely taxi ride through the jungle and ride in the bed of the truck to see all the views! The common space/deck is pretty big and a great spot for book reading on a hammock

Literally the best place to chill at Tekek with really friendly staffs. There’s a lovely restaurant just upstairs. The room is just in front of the beach so that we can sleep with wave sounds. We could also borrow snorkeling equipments for free.

    The location was excellent, the cabin was right on the beach and the views were spectacular. The cabin was very clean and had everything needed for the perfect holiday, including air conditioning and a small fridge. The staff went out of their way to make my stay perfect.

    20 metres from the beach. We stayed in a basic room which was as I expected. Fan room, ensuite. Great location. Restaurant opposite which I highly recommend using if you stay at the chalet or not. Any issues are sorted immediately and owners are really helpful. Might be cheaper elsewhere, but cheaper is not always better.

    The area and island as a whole is fantastic, the island is clean, very clean, compared to perhentian, this is a better more equipped island to go to for a family holiday. Cheap and value for money.

    Location was amazing, Beautiful little cove, very clean, very quiet with lots of marine life just off the beach. Plenty of tours available direct from the hotel at very good value (compared to neighbouring hotels). Free snorkels were provided and flippers were only around £5 for the whole duration of the booking. Staff were helpful and friendly.

    - Staff (especially Mina) was helpful, even though some things, such as my pickup for Juara, they couldn't organize well. - Price of the cheapest cabin was good. The one without AC. - Location was by the beach and pretty peaceful, because it is at the end of ABC (not so many Motos) - Loads of cats and one huge water monitor lizard living in the area!

    A big thank you to the people from the Hostel for the awesome and amazing time er had. If we could, we would have stayed much longer. The Dorm was very Clean and comfortable and the Location was amazing! The best Hostel in Malaysia!!
