Camp Gecko is one of the best memories of our trip! The setting of the large, comfortable tents in the quiet of the desert; the fantastic dinner braai packs with venison steak, salad, home-made bread and even a dessert (as we were not set up for camping, we were given crockery to use for our meal); the swim in the fish pond/pool with mountains in the background; the long shared breakfast table, where we met interesting fellow travellers. The owner Anna and Ernst at reception, who were both lovely, and the beer in the fridge there which was always cold :). We are seriously considering going back there for a longer stay!

Offering mountain views, The Desert Grace in Solitaire has accommodations, a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge.

One night in a beautiful lodge, room was the best one we had on our 2 week holiday in Namibia. Would love to have stayed more than one night, but was cost prohibitive.

The owners were so nice and helpful in welcoming us for one night. The lodge is spectacular and offers views you can’t find anywhere else in the world. The staff is also super.

We stayed at a huge campsite with our family of 4. It had 2 showers and 6 toilets!! Great place to stay during our roundtrip.

Lovely location and super friendly staff. Great to be able to book a family room that had everything we needed. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious. Overall, a great value.
