I found Ikeja GRA to be a very interesting place to stay. majority of the internal roads have recently been worked on. There are several great places to eat good food if that's your thing. For those who like to do outdoor exercise, the GRA provides very safe environment free from harassment of any form. I took very long walks from my hotel both day and night without any disturbance. I enjoy the apartment.
I enjoy the apartment. There is a very good security in place around the apartment. It is a beautiful place to stay. The workers are polite and helpful at all times. I will love to stay there again whenever I go to Nigeria. It is very close to Mega Chicken , where I eat most of the time. It is also close to banks and shopping complexes in Ikeja. I forgot to mention something very important about greywood hotel in ikeja. The morning of your booking they contact you over the phone and say that you have to pay now to keep your reservation and that your room is not available but they upgraded you and its gonna cost you more. Liked · The toilet and the air conditioner were the only 2 things that worked well. Disliked · I reserved the executive suite with the tub. They put me in the wrong room because the room had only a shower. They did change my room and put me on a room with a tub. The tub was dirty, and the shower part of the tub was broken. They also did not have a stopper to plug the hole so I could take a bath. So I went to Shoprite to buy disinfect for the tub and a stopper so I could take a bath. To take a hot bath, you had to call them to turn the hot water tank on, and sometimes you had to call them twice because they would ignore you. When you go to breakfast, they charge you for every little thing. For example, if you have coffee, you better drink it black because they charge you extra for the milk and sugar. You can not park your car there. There is no parking for vehicles. If you watch TV, you have to get up and walk to the TV because they did not give you a remote. I asked for a remote for the TV, and they said that they would bring me the remote but never did. The swimming pool is dirty. The whole place is dirty. One day, my husband and I were going out for the day. As we were leaving the hotel, a staff member stopped and wanted our key for the room. He thought we were checking out. My husband said no, we are not checking out. We are just going out for the day. Then the staff member said I still need your key card because you might lose it, and it will cost you #10,000 naira to get another key card. I told him we are not illegitimate children. We are gown adults, and you will not be getting my key card because I paid for the room and walked off. He acted like we couldn't afford #10,000 naira if we did lose it. There are many other stories I can tell you about this place, but this is already too long. PLEASE EVERYONE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. IT IS A CRAP HOLE.
