very nice design with local materials and well situated in the area. the kitchen is well equipped. very clean . the garden is gorgeous. the owner is very nice , he helped us with lots of tips even when we left! we recommend this place for surfers or even the ones who want to relax et enjoy the ocean and the beach. there is a bar/hostel and a small supermarket juste beside and it’s a nice to have around.

Incredibly friendly staff, very warm and welcoming. Perfect spot if you want to go surfing considering that they will provide you with surfboards for all levels. In some days there was a very nice break right in front of the place.

I love how quiet the area is. It is a walk away from the city center and the beach but not too bad. I love the pool and how clean the room was. I really enjoyed using the kitchen because it was so clean and the utensils were kept in good conditions. There was a bit of a misunderstanding on my end as I thought I booked a full room but it was instead a dorm (still good because no one was there during my visit anyways). They provided you towels, shampoo, and soap (like a mini hotel). Love that there was also a TV in the dorm to relax and enjoy some entertainment. I also love the big lockers they have and it even has keys too!

Where do I start… Saltwater hostel just reopened with a new look catering to the calmer backpackers / guests who are looking for a place to chill with other like-minded travelers. Less than 5 minutes away from party hostels, pubs and live music if that is what you are looking for. But, you get to return to a sanctuary after a night out! Free breakfast with AC dorm, fan dorms and private rooms caters towards every taste at a reasonable price. Married owners and staff are friendly and good source of information. The view above the busy beach scene is excellent with night noise level limited from the debauchery below. Look no further if the above is your vibe.
