Casa La Aventura is definitely one of the most beautiful accommodations I stayed at during my trip through Central America. As a solo female traveler, I felt incredibly comfortable and safe. Jon, one of the owners, was always available and provided recommendations and information instantly via WhatsApp—amazing service! The property is extremely well-maintained, and the rooms and bathrooms are spotlessly clean. There’s nothing that could be improved—it’s already perfect, a true oasis of comfort. If you have the chance to stay here, do it!

As soon as arrived here I was surrounded by peaceful nature and a relaxing vibe. The cabins are super clean, well set up, and have everything you need—comfortable beds, a big bathroom, and a full kitchen. The shared spaces are great too—perfect for reading in a hammock, hanging by the pool, or just enjoying the gardens. The staff is kind and respectful, and Aaron, the owner, is always helpful and quick to answer any questions. The beach is only a 3 minute walk away, and catching the sunrise or sunset there is an amazing experience. There are also lots of restaurants and little shops close by, which makes everything even easier. This place is really is a hidden gem in Popoyo!

The host was so friendly and amazing, we ended up going to a bar nearby and seeing her and she was so friendly and introduced us to people. She was very attentive and responded quickly to questions and needs. The property was very clean and nice. If you are looking for a resort/hotel, this isn't it. However, if you are looking for a remote and comfortable place close to nature for a good price and some privacy, look no further. Her dog was so sweet and always laid his head in my lap. The KITTEN!! i saw in the reviews that there was a cat, and she did not disappoint. We stayed three of us in the cabin. Our tall german friend said the pullout couch was doable. If you're a fun, easy going traveler, you're going to love this place.

It's a surfing paradise. Also, it's connected to the surf hostel that shares the amahula name. Which means you get access to all the surf amenities the hostel has to offer... like boat trips and great food+ more. Be sure to let those staying at the hostel know how much you're enjoying having air-conditioning... lol

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Casa Mariposa. Lovely, modern, clean, self-contained with a well-stocked functioning kitchen. Felt like an AirBnB back home. Great location close to the surf, short 10min walk on the flat to Colorado's and 10mins to the shop in the other direction. Fully equipped for surfers with board storage area and outdoor shower. Eddie who lives there was so friendly and helpful - even gave us some of his homegrown bananas! Cannot recommend this place enough, one of our most enjoyable stays in Nicaragua
