My experience was absolutely perfect. From the reception to the breakfast. When we arrived there were not many people in the place, we stayed from Saturday to Sunday in a room with a terrace that had a hammock to rest in the afternoon or morning. Customer service was 10/10; I even used an iron for a dress, and the service guys made everything easy for me.The cost is a bit high but the price-location ratio is worth it.

If you’re looking for a peaceful and very relaxing experience I can’t recommend San Simian enough. Fantastic rooms, gardens, service and of course Laguna de Apoyo is a dream. Daniel the barman was right San Simian is Muy tranquilo!

I could not recommend Casa Única more! It was exactly what we were looking for - to get away from the hustle and bustle, to be in nature and just relax for two nights. The facilities are great! With a barbecue area, a large deck looking out onto the lake, hammocks, big couches, as well as a tube and canoe to take out onto the lake. Everything was super clean, we loved the dogs on the properly and the owner, Ben, was very inviting and friendly. Thank you for such an incredible stay!

the property was very clean and in a central location of Masaya. it was private and gated as well. they provide a traditional Nicaraguan breakfast and have amazing coffee the staff was friendly and accesible 24/7

The only complaint I had was not with the hotel. I stayed on a Saturday and Sunday, and next door is a very loud discotech that only is a problem on Saturday and Sunday.

La Laguna is a beautiful place to spend time. The water is super nice and clean. One of my favorite places in Nicaragua. Every single time I’m visiting Nicaragua I’m going to Laguna Apoyo for the day or staying overnight. Love it

I loved this place.
I loved this place. It’s such a magical little spot with free kayaks, a spa and a restaurant. It felt like a little luxury break but it was very affordable. The volunteers were super friendly too and put on interesting activities like basket weaving, acroyoga, hikes and trivia. A lot of people do this as a day trip for Granada but If you have the time I would definitely reccomend staying longer!

If you’re looking for a place remote, secluded and basic, Apoyo lodge will satisfy your search. The location is beautifully situated on the rim of Apoyo Laguna. Water in the lake is warm and clean!! The surrounding is calming and relaxing. The view from my room is worth the extra dollars. It really is for people looking to escape the rat race of a big city and to connect with nature and yourself. The staff is great. I am not a vegan but the meals were satisfying and abundant.
