Maria and her husband are incredibly kind and helpful. They both speak English and are a wealth of information about Masaya, the volcano and onward travel to Granada (or I’m sure Léon, if one is going that way). The apartment is above a small shop, and although sparsely decorated, it was nice to have a “living room” separate from the bedroom. They served us fresh fruits and coffee in the morning for a fair price. I wish Maria and her husband all the best with their new endeavor. As of early February 2023, they have only been open a little over one month. I highly recommend a stay in Masaya and definitely at Casa Maria. Thank you both for a lovely stay!

We really liked the location of the apartments, the accommodation provided was perfect for our needs. The place is really secured and surrounded by different local businesses, stores, drugstores, supermarket, restaurants, bars, banks and the main attraction is th central park.

Carlos was so friendly and always on top of things. Breakfast was so delicious, and the portion was the right amount. The room was very comfy, clean, and cozy, and if I could revisit Granada, I would stay with Carlos for sure!

Absolutely everything was fabulous - a secluded place behind thick walls covering this hidden gem from the bustling life of the town. Starting from the overall intimate and luxurious but not pretentious atmosphere, to stylish, clean and spacious rooms (it is worth to mention sizable shower cabin), to always present, kind and helpful owner who personally serves you delicious breakfast. There absolutely nothing to complain, just chill out and enjoy. Finally, it is all just 3 blocks away from the main square.

We loved staying at El Arca de Noe. Very welcoming and friendly hosts. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed using the hammocks in the courtyard. Kitchen was clean and had everything we needed to cook in. We booked two tours through the accommodation and were really pleased with both. The owner, Carlos, was very responsive on WhatsApp. We enjoyed the free tour around the city and learnt lots about the history of Granada. Thank you!

Incredible quiet, beautiful setting that was wonderful to while the days away. A short walk from excellent restaurants in town. The rooms were spacious with excellent AC. Breakfasts were excellent. We had access to the kitchen which was very convenient. We had massages. The staff were all wonderful and helped arrange transportation to our next destination.
