Maria and her husband are incredibly kind and helpful. They both speak English and are a wealth of information about Masaya, the volcano and onward travel to Granada (or I’m sure Léon, if one is going that way). The apartment is above a small shop, and although sparsely decorated, it was nice to have a “living room” separate from the bedroom. They served us fresh fruits and coffee in the morning for a fair price. I wish Maria and her husband all the best with their new endeavor. As of early February 2023, they have only been open a little over one month. I highly recommend a stay in Masaya and definitely at Casa Maria. Thank you both for a lovely stay!

We really liked the location of the apartments, the accommodation provided was perfect for our needs. The place is really secured and surrounded by different local businesses, stores, drugstores, supermarket, restaurants, bars, banks and the main attraction is th central park.

My wife and I were very pleased with the locations closeness to everything in the city of Granada. It was very clean and extremely comfortable. The owner was a kind,honorable man, and very helpful to my wife and I throughout our stay. Mat’s mastery of the Spanish language was key to helping translate for my wife and I our entire stay. His knowledge of Granada and the Culture was invaluable to my wife and I. Mat helped put us in contact with all the right and good people to enhance our trip and ensure our return to Nicaragua to live. I can’t say enough good things about Casa Naranja and Mat’s great character. He was truly a blessing to have met and our friendship will remain rock solid forever . 👍🙏❤️

The rooms were big and had everything you needed. Very comfortable and clean. In a good location, close to the main square and market. The terrace was nice as well.
