The pool and view of Concepcion is unbeatable. All the gardening is beautiful and creates an amazing vibe I have stayed here many times over the years and the girls working there are always amazing! Super friendly and they go above and beyond for guests Sunset drinks at the pool is one of the most beautiful things ever!!

Beautiful property with fruit trees. Teresa the owner is lovely and she treated us like family. The triple room was huge and clean. The kitchen has everything you need to cook or alternatively, Teresa will cook homemade delicious meals. The location is great, we recommend sunset at Mangos beach .You can reach Papaki by public transport but it takes long time, we recommend to rent a scooter or quad bike. The website of papaki is well done and you can find all the information about transport, food and activities to do in the island.

Amazing place!! The family is so nice and made us feel super welcome. The place is idyllic: it's quite far from restaurants and stuff, but the secludeness of the place is what makes it so incredible. The cabins are very cute with a nice terrace. Facilities are okay: it's fine but not luxurious. There are lots of insects on Ometepe, so also at Rosa's Lake Cabins. I recommend renting a motorbike, because buses aren't frequent. The family is very helpful in many ways: recommending restaurants, arranging tours etc. They can also do your laundry. All in all, really a fantastic stay if you want to go off the beaten track!

There is no other house like this on Ometepe. The views from the Jacuzzi and the verandah below were spectacular, as well as relaxing. Many of the other options on the island do not offer air condition. For Americans like myself, the cool air was very much appreciated. The house was very clean and well kept. Eric keeps the property well maintained. He is also a good source of information about the island.

Everyone at the hotel was super nice and helpful to us, specially Carlos which we had the chance to share some time with him. The room was nice, the AC was working smoothly and almost noiseless, the shower had hot and cold water with a good amount of water and the hotel itself was feeling really peaceful, with a nice garden area with some chickens around. To us, after some days in cabins and eco houses, having nice walls and some crystal windows was what we were looking for. The lake is just at one side and you can see it while having breakfast, which by the way is pretty good. The place is close to some interest points of the island. I can only recommend the place.

    The town was nice, the only thing that could be better is...

    The town was nice, the only thing that could be better is the access since part of the road is still not paved yet, but it was in really good condition, I went in a Hyundai Grand i10 2015 Hatchback, and I was able to go to the Ometepe Biological Field Station, El Pital, Ojo de Agua, We also did the Istiam River Kayaking, it was awesome!!!

    You should go to Hotel Omaja with your eyes closed; nothing but great things to say about it, an exceptionally pleasant and beautiful place with a peaceful and friendly vibe from the owners, this is a very family-friendly place (I recommend highly for calm and respectful travelers needing a haven of peace and relaxation). This is not a party destination, it's a place to restore and rest and enjoy the breathtaking beauty while enjoying great food and conversation with the owners.

    The view was amazing.

    The view was amazing. The road to get there is really bad,advizing you not to rent a scooter to get there, might fall... Very close to the entrance of the natural reserve for the Maderas volcano climbing.
