The location is right on a fantastic stretch of beach (Santana Beach). You can walk on the empty beach for ages passing other beaches like Popoyo Beach. The waves can get a bit scary, but that is true for 90% of the Pacific Coast. The Mar Adentro is a clean, comfortable, and peaceful place. We stayed almost a week and loved it so much, that we even returned for a second stay, when we needed the Pacific refreshment after some hot weeks in Nicaragua. The rooms are absolutely clean and very comfortable. The staff is super nice and the restaurant is pretty good, too. The menu is somewhat limited but there are some great meat and veg choices. We also enjoyed the atmosphere. If you are looking for a party place, it's probably not for you. THe Mar Adentro is really quiet, laid back and peaceful. Other options for bars and restaurants are within walking distance, though. It is not exactly cheap, but we found it was more than worth the price.

Needed a comfortable place to rest during my quick weekend stay in San Juan and Villa Francia was perfect. The room is very nice and breakfast was delicious! I enjoyed my stay, would come back again.

This Place is incredible. The room are tastefully decorated, beds are super comfortable, the linens impeccable. Everything was very clean, the staff is super friendly. The yoga room on the top floor is insane with big windows overlooking the beach and the misty cloud forest. (My kids were able to run around and blow off some steam in the yoga space during a rainy afternoon - definitely something that we didn’t expect to have such a great impact). The food is definitely above average for a secluded place with fair prices, you can even preorder fresh fish the day before! There’s free water and a coffee station too. The pool includes a kids pool as well, which was great! The beach is reachable by foot and less than five minutes away. We had the beach for ourselves during week days. You can discover tropical birds, monkeys and frogs on the property as well, there even was a brochure explaining which animals you can spot - also something that was just a fun thing to do which we didn’t expect 😁 Definitely would recommend to stay here as a family when there are no retreats ongoing, 10 out of 10!

Everything!!! The staff was great, friendly and helpful. The room was excellent! It was clean, The Decor - simple yet elegant, The Bed (just aww), the bed sheets + pillows were clean and smelled amazing. The details of the overall hotel and layout was simply beautiful and peaceful. I will be going back for a longer stay.
