This hotel offers rooms within the walking distance of the centre of Apeldoorn, only 500 metres from the Orpheus Theatre. Such a great little hotel and the hostess is amazing! Rooms are great and the beds are so comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was absolutely perfect. Hopefully, I will get the chance to come back soon.
Van der Valk Hotel Apeldoorn - de Cantharel is situated in green surroundings, near Apeldoorn’s city centre. The luxurious rooms and the wellness centre offer a relaxing setting. A truly enjoyable experience staying in this fantastic hotel. I thought I'd arrived at the wrong place as our sat nav. took us further up the road to a forest trail. I entered the reception to ask for directions only to be told by the friendly reception staff "You are here!" The lobby and surrounding area is impressive and I wished we were staying longer as there are walking trails around the hotel that looked good for exploring. Breakfast is a sumptuous buffet at a flat rate and the rooms are impressive. The only thing the hotel currently lacks is a swimming pool however this is being addressed and work was starting the day after we left on the new complex. Again the photos of the finished pool looked very impressive. A kettle in the room and a selection of teas was helpful although not having "English Breakfast tea" was unusual. A small fridge to keep milk fresh would be a handy addition but it's not a criticism. We ate twice in the restaurant during our stay and the food was exceptional For the price this hotel is a bargain and I would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay. It's out of town so you will need a car. It's near a main road but you won't have any noise issues or any problem with light pollution. I don't know if there's a bus into ton from the hotel.
Hotel Pegasus is decorated in the style of Charles Dickens, around 1900, but with all comfort of a modern day hotel. Enjoy the balcony or rooftop terrace in your room and benefit from free Wi-Fi. incredible venue, it is like sleeping in a museum, and it is all consistent the interior
The 5-star Hotel De Echoput is set amidst the Veluwe along N344 and surrounded by the forest of Paleis het Loo. I had no expectation on this hotel and restaurant as it was conviniently on half way on my travels. Fact that I had dinner on Michelin Star restaurant was know to me next morning. But all is excellent. Food is great. Service is great. Bar and gin/tonic was excellent. Definitely two thumbs up!
Hotel Apeldoorn is located in a peaceful setting close to the beautiful Veluwe National Park. Walk to the city centre in less than 15 minutes. This hotel offers you attractive wellness facilities. Great location with friendly staff in a leafy upmarket suburb of the city, close to parks, bicycle friendly, with bikes to hire and lots of great cycle routes to enjoy the beautiful countryside and forest further up the hill. I didn't eat breakfast but the buffet looked excellent and the dining room is bright and airy and well laid out A nice place and convenient to the city with public transport. There's a great pastry shop nearby that's worth a stroll.
Peacefully located on the outskirts of Apeldoorn, near the beautiful nature typical of the Veluwe, is a family-run hotel offering comfortable rooms and friendly service. Breakfast was fresh and lots of food. Staff was quiet but professional. We would stay there again. We ordered the last room which was a small room. It was sufficient but we would have liked a bigger bedroom.

A city that offers everything. If you want a shopping location, a cultural vacation or just a fun weekend with the kids, Apeldoorn has it all. There are some pretty decent hotels available for a decent price as well. Now stop reading and start planning!
the environment and the nature is definitely worth a visit. the palace is nice view! bad that it is currently under construction and will be fully ready only in 2021 :(. but the garden and part of the palace is still open for visitors.
Nice and quiet town, with friendly people who speak English very well. I was there mid-winter, and unfortunatelly most of the local attractions are closed during winter. Leaves you with a clear idea about what you might do if you came again in spring time :) The amazing ballroom and modern dance studio "Wensink Dance Masters" and the Mid-winter Marathon kept me busy during the otherwise quiet time of the year.
Its a nice town but typical Dutch style really, lots of streets turned into pedestrian malls is nice if you’re shopping but it can get old easily. No canals or interesting photo opportunities. I think Apledoorn has been trying to take advantage of tourists by copying other cities. It needs something extra to get me back again.
We went to the roller muller museum and sculpture garden which was worth every penny, the best part for me was the Van Gogh paintings the building and grounds are fantastic. It is a drive away from Appledoorn but well worth the visit
Apeldoorn is a village next to the royal palace Het Loo that has grown into a big town during the 20th century. We visited on one day the National Museum of Het Loo and on another day the "Paleispark", a huge area of many hectares. Both deserve the highest recommendation! Apeldoorn also features a monkey zoo 'Apenheul' and a small scale entertainment park 'Julianatoren', which has retained its charm of older times.

The koetshius was so nice on the eyes and we were sad to leave. The gardens are pretty and the interior is very rustic, and feels like a nice place to be. Jan and Janet were so helpful in every way, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. 10 out of 10. Jan assisted us with getting bikes sorted for our stay, a grocery run, trips to the station and to the park. He is really good. We recommend you stay at the koetshius if your in Apeldoorn because it gives all the hotels a run for their money, good value.

A superb hotel in a beautiful tranquil area of Appeldoorn and not too far from the centre. The rooms are large, very clean, comfortable and quiet. All the staff are very pleasant and helpful , including one young lady on the reception, whose name I sadly didn't get, who went out of her way to help with a problem I had, she's a compliment to the hotel. We will definitely be back some time in the future and stay a lot longer.

We had an absolutely delightful stay. The house was wonderful and our room was "Dutch Cozy." The owners were wonderful, breakfast outstanding, and the neighborhood charming with an easy walk to the center of Apeldoorn.
