Everything. When we arrived the house was warm, which was very much appreciated. Afterwards the room was perfect in size, nice and clean. They have different types of salt, coffee, and many utensils. Although we were 4 of us and it was designed for 2 people, those of us who slept on the couch were more or less comfortable and very easy to set up and take down. We wanted to stay longer but we had to move to continue traveling.

The room was lange with a nice round table with 2 comfortable chairs in front of the window with a view of the water. The bathroom was excellent with rainshower. Great water pressure and shampoo conditioner cream etc heated mirror.The staff was exceptional, helpful, and friendly. It is one of the best places we ever stayed

Fantastic location in the heart of beautiful Leiden. We loved being able to walk to sights, eating out and easy walk to train. Staff very help and diligent, breakfast of croissants, bread, meats and cheese plus an egg, fresh orange juice and coffee... yum. Room clean and comfortable.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, everything felt spotless and well looked-after, which immediately put me at ease. One of the biggest advantages is its location: The Hague is just a short drive away, so day-trips to the city were quick and hassle-free, especially if you have a car. Value for money is another strong point here—you get comfortable rooms, friendly service, and a convenient base for exploring the area without breaking the bank. It’s worth noting that the hotel sits directly above a popular restaurant. On weekend nights the lively atmosphere downstairs can mean a bit of noise drifting up to the rooms. That said, I never found it unbearable, and the upside is you’re only a flight of stairs away from a tasty dinner or an easy breakfast the next morning. Overall, I’d happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, budget-friendly place with great access to The Hague and the bonus of on-site dining—just be prepared for a little weekend buzz.

Karin was a very helpful & friendly host.

Karin was a very helpful & friendly host. The breakfast delivered, exactly on time, by Jerome & Karin was as delicious as all the previous reviews said. I went for a quiet & peaceful break, away from the city, with my small dog, who had never seen such big open spaces in his life! This is exactly what we got. See below photos of one very happy dog (The only very small problem was that the door to the guest house, is very near a main, quite busy road, so, my dog could not run straight out into the fields ) I will be going back to visit Karin & Jerome again!!!
