Lovely area. Vught was nice. Den Bosch was also a nice area. I should have biked more - would have been easier to get to many areas. The hotel had bike rentals which was great. If you want to visit Den Bosch - Vught is a little further out.

The ambience of the place is brilliant. Do go for a short break. We went for three nights, should have probably gone for four, if you like art. Recommend Hotel Ulylenhof and do go on the Canal De Binnendieze.

One of us was doing some work in Eindhoven and Oss, and we chose Den Bosch as our base. It was perfect. We liked everything about the town. Enough going on but not too busy. The cathedral was wonderful. Travelling to nearby cities was easy. My wife visited Breda for half a day as well and said that she definitely preferred staying in Den Bosch. We were glad to be warned by internet reviews that the Bosch art centre did not have a single real painting, but only reproductions; however, he Noord Brabant Museum was definitely worth a visit, perhaps even two. Not only were there wonderful paintings, but the historical part was well presented and informative. For those with a sweet tooth, remember to try out Bosch Bollens - chocolates coated balls of cream, like a chocolate eclair but better. We had one from the Banketbakkerij Jan de Groot right next to the station and was not disappointed.

Interesting city that would not be among your most prominent destinations. However we found a City center center with nice little shops, an impressive cathedral and a wide variety of restuarant to choose from. Apart from Shopping and City Center Den Bosch has a lot of leisure facilities on offer that we will check out during our next visit. Definetely woth considering when planning a 2-3 day city trip.

Den Bosch is beautiful. Try DIT lunchroom/restaurant for quirky and delicious foodd and book your bootrip in advance online. The best coffee you will find at DRAP. Great shops (lots of boutiques) and plenty of places to choose from to eat.

The lovely Serena checked me in with a smile and a very friendly personality, definitely an asset to the hotel. We were made to feel very welcome from the start. We were able to park our bikes inside the restaurant for the night and then Serena showed us to our room and helped with the bags. We had a beautiful room and a free mini bar. Big comfortable bed and pillows, great shower and coffee maker. Loved the quirky design and layout. Great central location. Would recommend.

The rooms are very cosy and the bed was extremely comfortable. I was able to enjoy beautiful weather on the terrace, and ordered a pizza from down the road. The breakfast was delicious. Would highly recommend this bed and breakfast when traveling solo!
