The staff are very friendly and the hotel itself is extremely comfortable. Food is delicious, plus a great breakfast. Great size swimming pool and sauna. Lovely location with plenty of walks. And conveniently situated for public bus transport to nearby towns. I plan to return for longer next time.

De Achterdiek is by far the best Bed & Breakfast I have ever stayed at! The rooms are spacious and cozy, beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you might need. The owners are lovely and super welcoming, they gave us a tour of everything right upon arrival and made us feel right at home. The place is idyllic and quiet, and there are a lot of adorable animals around the home. You definitely have to try the breakfast - it's incredibly delicious and offers everything from coffee and juice to eggs and a variety of bread. Everything is made with love and you can tell that they put a lot of effort in every detail. Everything is perfect and it will make you want to stay as long as possible. Thank you for having us, we loved to stay with you and will definitely come back!

First time being accommodated in Netherlands. Top notch accommodation, owners are helpful and really kind, place is almost too quiet :-). Everything you need is just few kms away. Rooms were super clean, quiet. Kitchen was equipped up to par with home kitchen, if you're really into cooking. There were also free-range eggs from their own hen in a little basket, which was really kind :-). I rarely rate accommodations with such high rating, but you really have to experience it!
