The boutique hotel is a truly special place—exceptionally beautiful, with a wonderful atmosphere. Aimée and Ron, the hosts, have transformed the old farmhouse from the early 19th century into a top-class haven of comfort. The blend of traditional farmhouse charm and modern design has been executed incredibly well. Their concept of using local materials like limestone and repurposing building materials has been a great success. The three suites—just recently completed—are outstanding in terms of architecture and interior design. The quality of the furniture, lighting, and bathrooms is very high. With great attention to detail in every furnishing and floor covering, they have truly created something extraordinary. We felt at home right away. In the evening, we shared a glass of wine with the two of them and felt genuinely welcomed. The hotel is just a little over 10 minutes by car from the center of Maastricht, making everything easily accessible. The surrounding area also features some very nice restaurants, some with wonderful views of Maastricht from the hills. Parking right in front of the hotel or at the public parking lot just 100 meters away is no problem. There is also a charging station for electric cars on the lot. We wholeheartedly wish Aimée, Ron, and their family—with their two daughters, two dogs, and two horses—all the best and much success with their project. We’ll gladly come back.

Everything!! Super clean room, bed is super comfy, bed sheets and blankets are spotless and well ironed. We can't get over!!! Excellent! Toilet is seperate from the shower (fine). Modern! Breakfast in LA Place was good as well, enough choices Car park is free. Concierge is very helpful in checking in, checking out went smooth! Everything went absolutely perfect!! I will highlyrecommendthis hotel. By the way it's next to the airport, window view is the runway. Just close the window so you can't hear the noise.

A charming and peaceful town near the Meuse River.

A charming and peaceful town near the Meuse River. A great place for a weekend getaway. Be sure to visit Eetcaffe Auwt Aelse. They don't have an extensive menu, but they serve honest, delicious meals at a very reasonable price.

Reception was unfriendly and/or unhelpful, both in the afternoon and in the morning when paying. It was cold and businesslike. The restaurant and bar, on the other hand, were very good and the complete opposite of what the reception portrayed. The room definitely needed renovation. It had a small skylight, unpainted wood, old plumbing, and a dangerous shower (in the bath).

Elsloo has a beautiful, old part, but also many standard Limburg "cheaper houses." There's a good selection of restaurants, such as Het Slimme Schaap. Unfortunately, almost everything is closed on Mondays, and many are closed on Tuesdays; in those cases, you have to go elsewhere.

The duration was precise due to use as a sleeping place...

The duration was precise due to use as a sleeping place during a work weekend at MAA. The approach route requires a change of pace to driving in Limburg. The sign for the entrance to the P-1 motorway is in the driveway, which is a bit late to see from Geulle, so I initially passed it. I didn't really see Elsloo, but it seems OK as I continue driving. We had dinner in Beek, which is a great little town!

A beautiful historic building with a stunning estate.

A beautiful historic building with a stunning estate. Tip: come when the weather is warmer, because you won't want to miss the terrace. The room was spacious and very well-maintained. The bathroom was basic and provided with toiletries. Sleeping was wonderful, as you fall asleep to the sounds of the nearby forest. The forest is beautiful with many streams, waterfalls, and rolling hills.

Lovely hotel, particularly their patio and café/restaurant. The property is a wonderful historic building in a small town north of Maastricht. If you're looking for a bit of luxury, peace and quiet, this is the place to find it in the overcrowded Netherlands. Wonderfull place to relax after a days driving. Great drinks and food in the shade. Lots of private parking space.

The owners are genuinely warm, kind and friendly! And they prepare the nicest breakfast ever (they prepare it themselves)! I felt very relaxed and at home and I slept like a baby - thumbs up for the comfy beds. The location is also great, if you have a car there are many pretty sites close by. And the old village of Elsloo is very charming!

Very cozy stay at a very nice place in Elsloo. Friendly staff, comfortable room, excellent breakfast, easy parking on the street just outside the hotel (free), convenient location (15-20-minute drive from Maastricht). I would highly recommend it.
