This was a lovely property with comfortable clean rooms . Lovely grounds and gardens. We opted for a room with private patio and it was lovely, spacious, spotless. Friendly hosts, bikes available, great bike trails and .9 miles to Winterswijk center. Great selection of beer in bar, as well as wine and spirits. Beautifully decorated with artwork, wood floors and furniture, attention to details such as outlets easily accessible by bedside, at waist height (vs having to crawl in knees to find). Would come back!

Staff were spot on. Very friendly. Breakfast was lovely. Typical continental served with a flourish. Not buffet, but served at the table and plenty of it. They offered to fill my flask before I left in the morning to continue my motorbike tour, which was gratefully accepted.

pleasant check in staff. We had requested cots which were not in the room, but received an email after our stay informing us about the costs of cots should we want them. We were also surprised to be charged for the cots as normally they are complementary

We only stayed for one night but we had that homely feeling like back in childhood at my grandparents house. We had a great rest. Cleanness is beyond compare and the hosts very nice! We’ll surely come back when occasion comes!
