This is a wonderful place to stay if you are ever in MIddleburg. The owner/manager/bartender/cook (sadly, I forgot his name) was absolutely wonderful. He was very friendly and welcoming and pointed me in the right direction when I needed more Euros as most of the restaurants there do not take Visa. The room was plenty big enough for two people and the breakfast was hearty and delicious. I 100% recommend this place and I will certainly stay here again if I am ever in the area. The hotel was conveniently located to the trail along the water and within walking distance to the shops and restaurants of the city center of Middleburg. Plus, the parking was free and right next to the building.

Beautiful location in the dunes, very near to the sea. Stylish rooms with decent quality furniture. Very good mattress and bedding, very comfy. Breakfast was nice, with even a gluten-free option. Relaxed atmosphere.

Nice place, great room and attentive staff. Heads up you are asked to estimate your time of arrival. We were not familiar with traffic and got stuck at bridge allowing boats to pass, so we were later. So they waited for us for 2 - 3 hours. It is a fine line guessing or having to wait around to check in. But the place is lovely inside and out. Great kitchen items. Nice way to get dishes done. Very roomy space. I would recommend with a smile.

We paid about 35 Euro per night extra in order to get a dune-side room. We expected really nice view. Actually, the view was disappointing because we were partly looking over the parking area and then a wall of green (the dune) in front of us. It was certainly not worth the extra money. The hotel needs some renovation. The swimming pool is small and not really inviting and it was available only before 12:00 and after 18:00; in the afternoon it was only for children. The sauna is a small infrared sauna.
