Great area for a weekend or just to break a long drive over...
Great area for a weekend or just to break a long drive over the mountains. Will definitely go back. Lovely thoughtful details, chairs and a rug by the waterside, a rowing boat to borrow, a sauna for after your swim in the glacialmelt water. Communication was quick and informative, and all the staff so friendly. The room is compact - the beds comfy. Our room didn't have a TV, so the lovely table and bench seat outside the front door was ideal to take in views of the stunning glacial waters. The shower is fantastic..lots of pressure! Breathtaking views, free boat and kayak rental. The host was incredibly kind and showed us everything we needed to know. Far away from the usual tourist crowds. Everyone fell in love with this small, peaceful place – a hidden gem that leaves a lasting impression. Sadly we stayed only one Night.
