Hønefoss is my town where I grew up..
Hønefoss is my town where I grew up..I reurned now to meet friends from school and others..Grand Hotel was the main town hotel when I grew up in the 60 and 70 ties...The town has got quite new and fine meeting places in the centre prepared now for people,and no car trsffic..And Grand hotel has been upgraded to a good standard...

The property is exceptionally well kept with beautiful gardens and both outdoor and indoor swimming pools. Breakfast and evening meals are excellent. The rooms are spacious with everything you need provided. I’d gladly recommend this hotel if you’re staying in the area.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The view was superb. Dinner was very good-- something I did not expect from a hotel in Norway ;).
The hotel also offers free charging of electric cars at their parking.

I really liked the location of the hotel, the exterior and what was left of past glory inside.
Also the staff was friendly.
