The area was very quiet and all the local people were very friendly and welcoming. All those I met spoke very good English. Norway is a very beautiful unspoilt country with some stunning scenery. I would enjoy spending more time there. Public transport is excellent with booking / payment made quick and easy via the use of an app (and very cheap compared to the UK!). I should imagine that during high season, it would be fairly crowded (I was there in early October) when it was very quiet but the weather was still pleasant and sunny.
