Very nice house close to the bus station. Some reviews said that there were no blinds and was missing a hair dryer but when I got there, all windows had blinds/curtains and hair dryer was stored in the bathroom. Overall, it was really pleasant to stay here.

The place is amazing, and the view is even more spectacular. My experience was unique, and the jacuzzi experience was excellent. It also has a small kitchen with all the necessary utensils. I highly recommend it for relaxation and taking a break, away from the noise, in the middle of the beautiful nature.

Where to begin…location is wonderful. Able to walk to stores and restaurants or along the waterfront. Everything is nearby. So much space but cozy. Furnished with everything you’ll need. Easy entry details provided before arrival. We were fortunate to get a late check out since we had an afternoon flight.

    I visited Sogndal as a starting point to travel to Urnes Stave Church. The little town was a welcome change from the busy life of the big city such as Bergen. The weather was cloudy and rainy, but a walk on Fjordstien was a lovely pastime.

    Sogndal is a perfect home base if you want to spend a couple of days exploring the Sognefjord. It is the right size for walking around either day or night. People are very friendly and helpful. I don't think there was a launderette in town, that I remember, and that would have been helpful.

    We didn’t like that the owner is advertising pictures with a view of the fiord from the cabin and we could see only two cabins in front of us!! Pictures which he used are taken from a different cabin on the property. It was also hard to get hold of him. It took us 1 and half hour. Also the public road behind the cabin was noisy.

    Beautiful fjord, Nice village with a really nice walk along the fjord. Recommended for kids, too: lots to play with. One day in Sogndal is enough though. Be aware: you have to pay for parking everywhere in Sogndal! Even for the supermarket parking spaces. Recommended trips in the area: * Boyabreen glacier * E-Bike Tour from Haflso to Veitastrond (Tungestolen)

    We got the room in the newer part of the hotel and we appreciated it. It was spacious enough, bed was comfy, bathroom clean and simple. Breakfast was good with a lot of choices and there are 3 restaurants in the hotel, so you don't need to go anywhere for your evening meal, which was quite convenient, given the long weekend and that most facilities around were closed.

    Loved this hotel. Breakfast was delicious and the common areas were adorable. I loved that our room walked straight out onto a grassy area for the dogs. The view was great. Fun jumping into the fjord. Wish we had more time to try out the boats. This was a quick overnight stay but I wish it had been longer.

    Great communication with the owner, very accomodating. Room was clean, beautiful and spacious. The location was brilliant, just few meters away from the Sogndal bus station. Shared bathroom and kitchen, but very tidy and organised. Beautiful walking areas around the house too.
