Tungestolen is amazing! Jorn is a gracious host with mad cooking skills! Our family was thrilled with our stay here. Complimentary breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We paid extra for dinner both nights and it was well worth it. The views everywhere are incredible, the facilities very clean. When we weren't hiking, we relaxed in the main building with endless coffee, tea, and serenity.

The property was absolutely stunning and such a cozy tucked away gem. Every staff member we met was incredibly kind and welcoming and made us feel like they could grant our every wish. It was raining most of our visit however we hardly noticed as the living spaces were so welcoming.

Very friendly staff. We appeared to be the only customers for the night and got a free upgrade to a larger room with kitchen in the same room. Room was very comfy. View in the morning over the nearby lake was exceptional.

Beautiful location! We went during the off-season and they upgraded us to an apartment complimentary. It was immaculate and such a wonderful stay. I didn't see the rooms, but definitely recommend the apartments.

Our hosts have been super flexible about the ever-changing timing of our late arrival and have greeted us warmly upon our arrival and spent quite some time telling us about the area - what to see, and how it is to live there. The owner was a delight! He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. The charming hotel is a historic landmark in the area from the 1600’s with beautifully restored common areas like the cozy gathering room with a huge fireplace and leather couches. The dining room was my favorite! The restaurant onsite was delicious and very reasonably priced.
