The location is incredible! We walked everywhere. The views of Durbar Square from the rooftop are spectacular. We would definitely stay here again.

What I loved the most was the garden — so beautiful, filled with flowers. I did meditation in that peaceful garden. The whole experience felt truly wonderful.”

I am an architect working in Heritage Preservation and have worked in the past in Nepal so I can say that Bhaktapur is the best preserved city in Nepal and an outstanding example of a community living their traditions and therefore aware of their own culture identity. It is a city who h teaches everyone how to respect and preserve our own cultural heritage, to be seen at least one in the life!

Durbar Square is mind blowing.
Durbar Square is mind blowing. Good to visit after dark too for different atmosphere.
I visited a few of the Pokhari around the old city.
The river Hanumante was truly shocking with amount of rubbish and putridity. So close to UNESCO which was surprising.

Cozy atmosphere in the evening and beautifully lit temples and restaurants. Safe even to walk around alone. Beautifully restored temples. Beautiful art objects. Fun to participate in a pottery workshop or cooking session.

The center of Bhaktapur is beautiful and is a World Heritage site. It's lovely to wander the streets and see all the beautiful things. There are many temples everywhere, and the people are very friendly. The downside is that in busy tourist areas, vendors and beggars can be very pushy and persistent. Traffic in the streets is heavy, but you quickly get used to it.

Bhaktapur is a haven of peace and an open-air museum with incredible temples on every corner, and the locals are very welcoming. There are plenty of great little restaurants and souvenir shops.

I have been traveling a lot in my life, but I never saw such a beautiful city. Eventhough, the dramatical earthquake , all the buildings and temples have been fixed with the old materiel.
Walking by night in Bhaktapur in those small street is like to be in the middle age. Bhaktapur is a travel through the time.

All staff were so kind and helpful. I really enjoyed calm and quiet atmosphere. Sunshine coming into room were so beautiful.
I lost my wallet in the town so I felt confused, but the man working there (I forgot to ask his name) helped me everything to ask to tourist police and take me to bus station. Also the woman stayed by my side and made me calm.
I feel like home.
Thank you so much.

The location is right off Durbar Square and the rooms have fairly modern furnishings with soundproof windows and clean bathrooms. The breakfast of pancakes, potatoes, vegetables, egg and muffin is the best hotel breakfast I've had in Bhaktapur. The shower has hot water, though it takes a while to heat up. The manager is very kind and knowledgeable about the local area.

Quiet room right in the middle of the old centre of Bhaktapur. The hotel is owned by 3 welcoming and friendly brothers.
We enjoyed a different breakfast every day on the rooftop. Because of the great breakfast, we tried also lunch and dinner at Rupakot. Every dish was delicious with fresh ingredients. Chicken Sizzler was my personal favourite!

For Nepal standards it is a good place and great location. The boss is a really cool guy and they try to help you with everything. The roof place for breakfast is charming, also the breakfast is nice. It is a good hotel and I can recommend it.
