The room is very clean, spacious and modern, all the staff is very friendly specially the manager. He is available and accommodating.
The free shuttle from the airport is a big + when arriving to Kathmandu. You find someone waiting for you with your name and the manager contacted me a day before to give me all the details.

On the first day of Kathmandu in the city bus I was stolen money from my poshest. Until that time I had thought that Nepali were honest and diligent. So that I didn’t pay attention to things like having my money stolen on the bus. On the last day the airport was closed because of the strike, so I had to reschedule my ticket and stay in hotel one night more The city is so dusty and lots of rubbish. You have to say No! Everyone wants you to buy from them but they are used to being rejected. There are some people wanting to talk to you, often wanting to show you their workplaces etc so they can lure you in to buy their wares. Conversations always start with Hello sir/madam.
