Everyone in the staff was so kind and accommodating. I felt welcomed from the moment I stepped in. The breakfast buffet had delicious variety and the rooftop swimming pool was refreshing and with nice views.
I highly appreciate that they had the luggage storage which saved me a lot of hassle moving around with a heavy suitcase after shopping in Thamel :)

Also, the roof top is a very nice place to watch the sun rise, do some yoga or just have a coffee and read a book. The room served perfectly out needs and the breakfast was delicious every day, so a very decent hotel for a brief stay in Kathmandu and perfectly located to explore the city and take a bus to somewhere else (heart of Thamel and bus stop within walking distance under 10 min)

The room was very comfortable and the staff were always here to help and assist. This is why I stay at Karma Hotel every time i come to Kathmandu. Kathmandu is bustling and alive, with plenty of trekking shops that offers Excellent gear at an excellent price, you will find EVERYTHING you need here. Durbar Square is cool, and if you can handle it the Pashupatinath Temple on the banks of Bagmati River - Crematoria is worth a visit. Restaurants overall are pretty good offerring a wide range of Western, Nepalese and Indian Cuisine. The shopping for local crafts and Cashmere are Great... .

An exciting, vibrant city full of interest, lovely people and good food. Felt very safe. Also very cheap, £20 a night for two people in a good hotel. In Pokhara, after a twelve day trek we stayed in the smartest hotel I’ve every stayed in, right posh it was, pool, sauna, massage, etc all for £60 a night for two people. Napal generally is a very good option for holiday. While the initial flights are expensive, fly via Delhi takes about 13 hours and costs roughly £1000, once you’re there it’s very cheap with lots to do. Best suited for those people looking for an active holiday trekking, guided mountaineer, water sports, mountain biking, and temple ticking. A European holiday from Europe is cheap to get there but food and accommodation are expensive. Napal is expensive to get there but very cheap once you’re there. I’m 67 years old, this trip was my swan song my final big mountain exploit ! Well stuff that, it’s fired me up, I’m going back next spring, thanks Nepal.

Kathmandu kind of dusty city, you may wear face mask. If you need to buy something, you probably need NPR. I found hard to change back from NPR to US dollars. Better to change USD to NPR just enough to buy what you’re looking to buy. Hotel and some coffee shops taking credit cards.

People in Kathmandu are friendly and helpful. The weather was fair for this time of year. A lot to see and take in. Shopping, eating all the very delicious Mo Mo soaking in Jhol. All the Temples, Shrines, breathtaking mountains views, and of course Mount Everest.

Some part of loads were not paved so sometimes like rush hour the air becomes so dusty due to so many cars and buses. Some restaurants would charge some extra fee if you offer to pay by credit card. cash would be better in a local restaurant.

This hotel is less than six months old, rooms are spacious and clean, with super comfortable beds. Breakfast is delicious! I can’t wait to see the team develop the hotel with the rooftop and plans for the lobby.
Stay here if you want an honest, trustworthy and wholesome place to rest with family style management. Bishal and Binit, made my first week in Thamel an unforgettable experience. I will be back! Also they know the best momo place to visit.

I strongly advise this hotel. The location is perfect, next to Thamel, but in this hotel you don't listen hustle and bustle of the street. It's a quiet place. The staff is very friendly and rooms are good. The breakfast is very good with sweet and salt food served in a tiny quiet garden. Moreover is a cheap hotel :)
