The area where the property was located was very good l. A five minute walk to get to a great view point. The staff there were very friendly. The owner also dropped us to the nearest bus stop. The taste and quality of the food was also fantastic.

We really liked the location, a little bit away from the city center so it was nice and quiet with no traffic. It had the perfect view of the mountain range in the fortunate to have many clear days The large windows and sliding glass door allowed us to sit inside under the warmth of the heating system during those early morning hours when it was still fairly chilly outside, but when the mountain views are most clear. The supplied hot water kettle let us sit and sip our tea and instant coffee in comfort while enjoying the mountain views. On those days when the mountains remained visible until about midday, we were also able to enjoy sitting out on our deck.  We eat virtually all our meals there, and the food was excellent with a lot of variety. It was also helpful to us that we were able to pay for the rooms and our meals with a credit card, a service that has not provided him any of the Budget hotels.

Aboslutely stunning views from room and restaurant and all common areas. Lots of beautiful outdoor spaces to enjoy the scenery. Food was very good at all meals, and service was great allover, from restaurant, to reception and spa. Very comfortable bed in spacious room with private balcony to enjoy the sunrise over the Himalayas. Great value for money!

With inDrive, after you receive a booking, they may call and ask for extra charges. If you repeatedly cancel bookings because you’re not comfortable, inDrive may even restrict your account. This caused a lot of trouble for us. I just want to remind everyone to be careful with taxi drivers and always make sure the cost or fare is clearly agreed upon beforehand.

    Nagarkot , lovely place to stay there, neighbours and villagers are very friendly, safe and secure. In every morning or evening, we walk around Nagarkot village to Nagarkot sunrise tower through pine tree forest. It has good viewpoints to snowcaps of Hamalia range, sunrise, sunset and community villages in valleys. In Nagarkot, we can have fresh meat, chicken, egg and milks all are fresh and tasty. There are a lot of restaurants nearby Nagarkot but enjoy cooking fresh meals , breathing fresh breeze, so nice of community life there. In some day , visit to Bhaktapur Durbar square by bus, and can go to several sites as day trip. Good to learn Tamang culture. For us, at least we want to stay at least 7 days but we found very late so we can only stay 4 nights. We will definitely come back Nagarkot

    The town itself is small and very local.

    The town itself is small and very local. We came to Nagarkot to hike, enjoy nature and get away from the noise of Kathmandu. We ate meals at The Fort. We walked into town to view the sunset but spent no time there other than watching the sunset.

    The hotel and grounds are lovely, with beautiful views of the Himalayas in the early morning. However the property is somewhat isolated, being located all by itself on the mountainside. So there is nothing much to do there and nowhere really to walk to (Nagarkot not being much of a town to begin with) Also the swimming pool and hot tub is indoors in a rather unpleasant, humid, glass-encased room. It is also an odd shape, so as to interfere with lap swimming,

    A nice home stay with great views to valley and rice fields . Big room, two double beds, nice balcony. Attached restaurant very convenient and food is tasty. Value for money. We did nagarkot hiking trail and we enjoyed marvelous views. Trail starts behind nagarkot village view hotel (300 meters from hotel uphill) and goes straight doing a circle. Path is flat. At the end either you turn left, to find asphalt road, walk uphill 30 minutes, cross village and return homestay, or you return same way.

    Very nice hotel with an amazing view from our balcony (attached to the deluxe double room). I think it might be some of the best views in the whole town of Nagarkot. The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly. Wifi worked well too.
