Outstanding Stay at August International! I had a fantastic experience at l August International.. The rooms were modern, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. We had very comfortable and relaxed stay at the hotel for one night before, and two nights after our Himalaya trekking. The hotel has very nice facilities, beautiful lobby, courtyard, pool; large, clean, and comfortable room, very good breakfast. All staff were super friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Mr. Vibash, because we would not be able to do the trekking as we planned without his help. When our arriving flight was delayed, Mr. Vibash personally went out his way, not only helped to pick us up from the airport, but also helped to secure all things required for trekking right after we arrived the hotel before time ran out.

Everything. Mr. Madhab always ask if everything was okay and if i slept comfortably and the answer was always yes! Bed was comfortable and big for 1 person. I have a balcony and a private bathroom. The hotel proce was very affordable. I definitely would love to stay again. The wifi was good enough for my work as well. Didnt have any issue. Probably with videocalls it will be a little slow. Very hospitable hosts and hotel owners. Thank you very much!

    Pokhara is a beautiful city with tourist attractions. It was a difficult road journey in a Luxury Coach journey from Kathamandu which took 11 hours to travel 200km due to extremely poor road conditions and traffic jams. Nepal Government must improve the infrastructure and to have reliable airlines with good safety records to attract more tourists to help its economy as well.

    A Refreshing Stop in Pokhara – Great Weather & Scenery We visited Pokhara before and after our hiking trip to Mardi Himal Base Camp. It's a beautiful, peaceful city with pleasant weather and stunning natural surroundings. We explored the lake area and nearby spots – truly relaxing. The airport was very clean and convenient, making travel smooth. A perfect stopover for trekkers and nature lovers!

    Few places are good but in summer never recommend to anyone for Pokhra . Perfect season for travelling is before March & after October. Temperature in June is around 35-38 degrees which is not good for travelling.

    Pokhara was nice and touristy, it had a lot of shops and restaurants and everything was a walking distance in the lakeside area. For souvenirs and purchases, it is considered a bit more expensive than Kathmandu. I loved the city, except for its bad weather that really affected my lungs (a lot of pollution/haze/ fire smoke) which affected my health a little.

    Pokhara is a beautiful place and though it is a stop for many trekkers who are going for different treks, the city has alot to offer. The Phewa lake boat ride, the Basundhara park, the Gurkha memorial museum and the marketplace are some fun things to do when in Pokhara. I highly recommend exploring the lakeside and consider the city more than just a pit-stop for the different treks.

    Got an upgraded room with Balcony which was huge and lovely. Location is great and the garden a bliss in busy Pokhara. One of the first hotels in Nepal where I noticed house plants in the lobby, that is how green it was. Breakfast is ok and has some variety between the days. Food can be ordered to the room as well. Stayed longer than intended in the end. Did not try out the trekking service (in the lobby with own desk) but it seems very organized.

    The hotel staff as well as the owner was cordial, sincere and attentive unlike all the other usual nepali hotels. Rooms were kept tidy and organized. Mountain and lake view was cherry on the top. Location is very close to the markets, restaurants. After a lot of bad experiences in other hotels of Nepal, Mandala was relief for us! We will choose Mandala everytime we visit Pokhara. Highly recommended!

    It is just a fascinating family-run hotel in the very heart of Pokhara, literally 20-30 meters away from the lake. Waking up with lakeside view every single day is priceless. The owner of the hotel, Mr. Krishna is a very pleasant person, so is his family. They always gave me their pieces of advice, and he even dropped me to the bus station.

    So much to like about this place. Owner went out of his way to make my stay enjoyable. Close to Lakeside, clean, quiet, lovely breakfast and the WiFi is superfast. Will be staying here on my return. Couldn't have chosen a better hotel for my time in Pokhara to be honest.
