Kiwi International Hotel 2 stars

Hotel in Auckland Central Business District, Auckland

Offering quality affordable accommodation in the heart of Auckland city, Kiwi International Hotel is centrally located on Auckland's iconic Queen Street, close to all the main restaurants, bars,... Very welcoming staff and very efficient and friendly. Clean accommodations and well- managed. I was on the third floor on the side that backed up to a park greenway area and on the Saturday night there was a fair amount of noise (even with windows closed) from people partying in the park late into overnight and early a.m. hours. The evening before that it was fine/quiet. No fault of the Kiwi of course. I enjoyed my stay there very much and really appreciated the good front desk staff and housekeeping staff. A few blocks away from a major store and restaurant area so well located. Relatively close (several blocks) to the bus stops I needed. A clean hotel everywhere I looked. Thank you Kiwi

FAQs about hotels in Auckland

Thrilling City of Sails and Volcanoes

Called the 'City of Sails' due to the large number of yachts anchored in Waitemata Harbour, Auckland is the largest city of both New Zealand and Polynesia. Built on the Auckland Volcanic Field featuring about 48 extinct volcanoes, this city truly offers a blast!

Auckland is a real cultural mix with strong Asian, European, Maori and Polynesian influences, celebrated in frequent festivals and sporting events. Some examples of these cultures can be seen at the Auckland War Memorial Museum, one of the best in New Zealand. For more, try the upmarket dining of the Viaduct Harbour.

Another must-see is the tallest free-standing tower in the Southern Hemisphere, the Sky Tower. If you’re feeling up to the challenge, you can even perform the Sky Jump, a controlled base jump from 192 metres!

Climbing the volcanic cones as well as the stunning Auckland Harbour Bridge will provide unforgettable, panoramic views of the city’s skyline. For a different perspective, why not try a cruise or sea kayaking?

Getting to the city centre is an easy trip from Auckland International Airport. Find modern hotels, comfortable motels and cheap hostels on Booking.com, sure to have the perfect accommodation for your holiday.
