Situated in Cambridge, Masonic Hotel offers 3 accommodation with private balconies. Featuring a restaurant, the property also has a bar and a shared lounge. Boasting a garden and free WiFi, 66 Chaucer Bed and Breakfast is situated in Cambridge, 27 minutes' drive from Hobbiton Movie Set. The room is fitted with a flat-screen TV, and has a garden view. Trato amable, muy educado. Preciosa decoración. Mejor que en un hotel de 5 estrellas. Un lujo de bed and breakfast.
Located in a rural setting, Podium Lodge offers accommodation 2 minutes' drive from Cambridge. Free WiFi is featured throughout the property. Each well appointed room has a flat-screen TV. The location was great. Close to Cambridge (5 minute drive) and the velodrome nearby only 500m away with a great cafe is nice! The beds were really comfortable and the units spotless as they are new. The room is serviced daily which we didn’t know but liked! Also you can use the gym facilities (we didn’t!) at the velodrome by organising it with the hotel directly (a bonus we didn’t know and would have used if we weren’t so busy eating a lot of Easter chocolate!).

Karapiro Willows Luxury B & B features air-conditioned rooms in Cambridge. Built in 2010, the property offers guests free breakfast each morning and is 2 minutes' drive from beautiful Lake Karapiro . Karapiro Willows was everything we have expected and even more! From the location (right in the middle of the north island, close to Rotorua, Hobbiton, Waitomo Glow Worm Cave) to the confort of the rooms and quality of the breakfast. There are 3 rooms in total available for guests, built in line as a wing of the main house where the hosts live. 1 room has a king bed the pther 2 have queen beds. Teo rooms have also a dedicated patio, the one in the middle doesn’t. The bed ia super comfy, the bathroom quite large. Everything ia very clean. We have appreciated the toiletries provided. Not only that they were in full size (not the small ones ypu usually get in hotels) but also they were Eco, no funny stuff in them. The breakfast was excellent, home made musli, yoghurt, smoked salmon, cheese, avocado, tomatoes, boiler eggs and jams+honey.

We enjoyed our time in Cambridge. What a great little town with lots of history. Strolled around the town and it's so busy but once we found a nice coffee and seat we did not notice all the hustle and bustle around us. There were a couple of restaurants and a hotel which we had dinner - lovely. Cambridge is definitely a place that I wish to stay again.
I was there to attend a Golden Wedding Anniversary, but got to spend some time in the town. The autumn colours of the many English trees were lovely, there was a good Farmers' Market in progress, and some excellent antique shops. People were friendly and the eating places and cafes were well=patronized. The town is tidy. Rouge provided an excellent long black and savoury scone.
I always like the character of Cambridge with the huge trees lining the road into the main street and along the approach road. I like the statue of the horse denoting that this is an area of horse farms. This visit though was not to Cambridge but to Karapiro for a rowing regatta. When the National Rowing champs are on we will book at the Podium Lodge again The Karapiro rowing site is just magnificent for facilities and the stand where you can see the finish line of the races. It is beautiful for the scenery of the water and the river banks.
Absolute Cafe is 10 out of 10. Staff friendly and efficient. Great variety of food. Top quality food. Good coffee. Lots of space inside & outside, with pleasing plants & decor. Fruit & Vege shops in Cambridge pretty good too.
Cambridge is a charming and delightful place. It is very pretty, with lovely old wooden buildings, huge trees, neat gardens, lovely shops and friendly people. Not to be missed if you’re exploring the North Island. The sunken lake in the middle of town is a must for nature lovers and walkers and a drive in the surrounding countryside is well worth the trouble as it’s absolutely beautiful.
It ihas a quaint old down town with eateries , shopping and classic old style buildings. The Waikato river meanders thru with mature growth everywhere. On a more modern note the high performance centres for sport excellence in rowing and biking are located nearby at Lake Karapiro and the Velodrome.

Penny and Laurie were generous and thoughtful hosts during our one night stay. The accommodation in the front of the house, is small but immaculate, with fresh bright decor, a large bathroom and breakfast served by the hosts in the dining room which is a reminder of charming English B&Bs. The neighbourhood is very safe and quiet ensuring a good nights sleep. The Cambridge area is very pretty (green grass and pretty autumn colour in April), a vibrant food scene in addition to an interesting array of shops to explore.

It’s the perfect holiday rental . Spacious for a family of 6 and could house more I suspect. It is homely and clean, set in beautiful country side with everything you could need. 5 mins from lovely Cambridge, easy driving distance from Hamilton, Hobbiton Movie Tours and Waitomo. The owners are just lovely too, warm and welcoming. If you have time in your itinerary you should stay a few days in the area, there is so much to do.

The studio was spotlessly clean. Lots of space to move around. Well equipped kitchenette. Big bathroom with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Lovely host who dealt well with our last minute booking. We had our dog with us and she has a fenced off area with a kennel right outside the room. Beautiful rural spot just outside of Cambridge with sheep and gorgeous Maltese dogs.

This is one of my favorite properties I’ve stayed at on my world travels! Location, New, & Clean! Fantastic layout, spacious bathroom, kitchen, and laundry. Next door is a great cafe, Sloth. We stayed in Room 6 (1 bedroom plus sofa bed). We loved the town of Cambridge, and our room and experience made it the best!! We ate at Onyx. Visit Over the Moon cheese store.

Really liked the community kitchen/dining area, where we prepared and ate our meals. This property seemed to fit the sweet spot between comforts of a hotel room and budget of a hostel. Good location near center of city.

Cheap price for staying in a very retro historic building. It's right in the centre and there's a bar downstairs if you would like to have some beer and snacks.

Closeness to Cambridge town centre which was walking distance.

We provided our own breakfast. The location was good with an attractive large lawn and floral hedges etc. It was rural but allowed us to drive into Cambridge quickly. The unit's décor was exquisite. It had a double bed in the lounge as there was no bedroom. The kitchen did not have a sink or water taps, and so we had to wash dishes in the bathroom hand basin, and fill the electric jug in the same hand basin.

We were made to feel so welcome by Yakin and his wife. We loved having the animals at the Homestead B&B. Yakin was an awesome host very friendly, helpful and we were so impressed with the way he treated his animals they are all very spoilt. It is an older styled home that was very comfortable and warm. Felt at home being part of the B&B experience.
