Had a lovely relaxing stay and delicious breakfast. Comfortable, warm and a very welcoming home to come back to at the end of each day. Very cute dog added to the welcome. Plenty of restaurants were within walking distance.

Fantastic extremely well presented apartment with wonderful attentive host, seamless check-in and a building with great character. The building and bar/restaurant at the end of the building are worth the visit alone! Unlikely to stay anywhere else in CHCH now.

Casterton Cottage is amazing. Stunning decor made it feel luxurious and elegant, yet it was also comfortable and cosy. The bed was great, the towels were plush and we really enjoyed the spa. The personal touches of a bottle of wine, home baking and fresh flowers in several rooms made it all the more special. We would definitely stay here again!

It was so grand, and yet so comfortable. The scale and the architecture were just amazing. The woodwork and depth of the windowsills, and the elegant staircases / all just amazing.And seemingly untouched by the earthquakes.
