The room was very clean, and the ambiance of the facility uplifting. The breakfast was delicious, with many choices. It would have been nice to spend more time there … Next time!

There is so much to do.
There is so much to do. The Hamilton Gardens are amazing and must easily be one of the top destinations in botanical gardens in the world. A stones-throw away at Raglan we could see the surf and the people both in Hamilton and Raglan were very welcoming.

We went to Hamilton for a special birthday party, the venue was very close to where the party was staged so was the best choice for us and the host seemed to be a really nice person, everything we required was supplied, would we stay there again??? yes in a heartbeat. Thankyou.

Highly recommend one night/two days in Hamilton.
Highly recommend one night/two days in Hamilton. You can easily fill and enjoy two days but not too much more than that. We spent one day at Hamilton Gardens which is truly world class. I cannot recommend visiting the gardens more – they were absolutely stunning and the whole parklands environment is delightful. There are some good cafes and restaurants in Hamilton city and an enjoyable river side walk. We also drove to Lake Karipiro and had lunch in Cambridge which we enjoyed. Cambridge is a nice town but not super special from a tourist point of view. We didn't go to Hobbiton but have heard great things about it, if that is your thing! The main drawback of visiting is that it lacks good accommodation options – only large, soulless hotel complexes or motor lodges. Could really do with some more stylish, boutique style accomodation.

Lots of cycle/ walking paths, the river is fabulous to be near, there were plenty of restaurants in the city. Rice rice Baby was our favourite meal. We enjoyed our ride to Ngāruawāhia and the coffee & food was good at Breaking Bread cafe

Hamilton is great in terms of the distance to all the main attractions however there is a dearth of facilities near by the airport and too expensive transportation.

Very comfortable bed, the best sleep on the whole trip. The room is designed to be very efficient with space. Lots of shelving and places to hang clothing. Very light-tight blinds. Great bedside lights, and room lighting in general. Loads and loads of charging ports. Excellent, excellent TV! All the amenities you need in a hotel, in a compact, efficient space such that the room feels bigger than it is. Great location and view from our room.
All of that AND excellent team of young people who really look after you. Outstanding.

Collecting the keys was easy and not far from the accommodation itself. It was a lot of information but we got through it. I wish we had longer there to enjoy the apartment and having the kitchen was a bonus. The place was warm, and we could relax without feeling cooped up in a hotel. I will stay there again next time we're in Hamilton.
