Everything! The owner Carol (sadly, didn't meet her husband Max) was incredibly friendly, informative and helpful. Loved the location, overlooking the orchards, close to Havelock North, for shopping and family nearby. The ' icing on the cake' was the opportunity to use the owners private pool. It was simply stunning! A truly lovely place.....

Staying in a beautifully appointed 2 bedroom 2 bathroom self contained cottage amidst the vineyards with beautiful views to the surrounding hills is a very relaxing and peaceful experience. Add to that the superb food at Terroir restaurant and excellent Craggy Range wines makes this a superb place to stay.

Love the location, hotel is located in Havelock North, a much nicer town than Napier and Hastings in my opinion, and is close to most number of wineries in Hawke’s Bay. Restaurant at the hotel turned out to be the best one we dined in Hawke’s Bay, and we did go to a couple of highly rated ones in Napier.

A perfect escape from the normal tourist hotels. If you are staying any where around Hawkes Bay and this property is available book it immediately. It might be your best night in New Zealand. You've seen a million sheep along the roads. Here's your chance to get up close and feed one!
